I'm done choreographing our entire routine, but I am completely stuck on our pyramid. We are going Pop Warner/JAMZ Level 3 and they don't allow any release moves except braced tic-tocs. We can do freestanding single leg extended stunts, 360 to prep, full downs from two leg extension. We can also do inversions from the ground to load in position, but no other type of inversions are allowed. I was going by last years JAMZ rules when I originally started choreographing the routine, but they changed them a few weeks ago. Needless to say, I'm stuck.

Do you have any suggestions on how to max out this type of pyramid without being the same as everyone else?

So you can't do any other braced type of release move as in a ball up or a super man???? Oh man, I bet you wantd to pull your hair out when you saw that!!!

If you have 5 stunt groups try to max out in other areas such as the number of structures you hit, the amount of times your groups change positions, etc. Try doing a basket in the middle group then reload to show n go then have them be the middle.

I honestly am, because last year we were able to do release moves, but then they changed the rules and moved release moves up a level. But thanks, I have quite a few ideas, but I feel like everything I think of is having a really hard time coming together. Thanks for the input though!

I feel your pain. We are allowed release moves in 3 competitions but they aren't allowed for our national qualifier. We went from having double ball backs one week to press up fulls the next week. Single legged extended stunt are also prohibited so there go the pretty turning Libs.

Ugh same! We have like 3 competitions where they're allowed and 3 where they're not. None of the rules at any of the competitions are the same, so we'll see how this goes haha. Just have to keep up to date on the legalities and scoresheets. Good thing my girls are pretty flexible when it comes to changes.
