Has anyone found a good lipstick that doesn't come off? I am not as concerned with it fading from the lips as I am about it getting on our white uniforms. In particular, our flyers always end up with lipstick stains from their bases. Has anyone found a good solution to this problem? Or should or parents just keep arming themselves with the bleach and toothbrush after competitions? ;)

i wish i thought about this when i still cheered i caught my flyer one day in a really strange cradle and ended up lurching forward and she ended up with a giant kiss mark on her back -.-

We use the kind that has color that dries on your lips and then a clear top coat to keep your lips soft. It never comes off! Maybelline, Cover Girl and Revlon all have a version. We like the ones that have the color in one end and the top coat in the other better than the ones that are two separate tubes.

Revlon colorstay overtime. I can put it on, go out to dinner and I'll still have it on when I wake up the next morning.

Fancy Face has something called Lip Seal, you paint it ( clear) over lipstick. I just inquired about it. It is on their website.

Last year we used red sparkle glitter instead of lipstick. It stays on. I was surprised!

you could use a lip stain because it gives you the color you want but without coming off on stuff and the girls can't complain about it being sticky or such

For the inevitable lip print on your white uniform this is how I get it out. Get a Tide To Go pen. A white washcloth or paper towel. Place white cloth under stain. (inside the sleeve) And pat pat pat that stain stick on the lip print.....use the Tide stuff very liberally. The stain should be soaked. Do not wipe the stain it will smear. Just pat pat pat pat pat.

Works on blood too. After I do this I usually wash the top out in the hotel sink and hang dry for the next day. But, I've also used this while standing on deck before 1 of the kids was competing and it works every time.

I use so many of those Tide pens in a weekend. Last year in our Jr pyramid IDK what my CP was catching but she had a full on lip print on her arm every single time she came out of warm ups. LOL So I have a lot of practice with this.

And, I'm interested in a new lipstick this year too.....We usually use Revlon Color stay I think it's called. It's the one with 2 separate tubes. 1 of color and 1 of gloss. My CP hated it. I can't wait to see everyone's recommendations!

A lot of the major cheer make up brands are making more lip sticks that help with this issue! LA Splash has a great selection! I would recommend checking that out!

it sounds weird, but we would always spray hairspray over our lips and it like sealed the color in. it feels gross though, and you don't want to accidentally get it in your mouth. :p

There are a few stains that you can get at the drug store. Revlon and Cover girl both have one. It dries but doesn't flake. It's like Sharpie marker for your lips. My daughters team had white uniforms and thats what prompted me to find something that didn't end up everywhere.

YES. I used this for my last 2 seasons and it was great. My coach actually ended up recommending it to the entire gym last season. My white uniform never saw a red lip stain!

The Covergirl works great, even though it feels a little icky on. Comes off ok with baby oil, though.

Magic eraser will take lipstick out of a white uniform really well, too.
