Heyy all!!
in my routine it has been choreographed that i have to do a side Aerial to the left.
ive been looking up certain youtube videos but im positive that the fierce board is the best way to learn it.
Can anyone help me out with like a step by step plan??
(including talking about the arms, feet, upper boyd, lower body etc.)
Cheers xx

this is going to sound strange but it helps if you know how to do a front handspring, I use the same "popping" motion for my side ariel as I do my front handspring. When I say "popping" motion I'm talking about the way my feet and body leave the ground.

Prep: run as hard as you can and jump with both feet at the same time (like a front handspring)
Flip: rotate your body as quickly and as hard as you can just like your regular cartwheel
Arms: hold your arms in a broken T, it will help you whip your body around
Legs: make sure that your legs are straight as a board
Body: make sure your chest is VERY upright and your back almost arched

Good Luck! Hope the best for you!:)

My problem is that just at the end i place my hand on the floor and its so frustrating!! i try keep my chest up and i try push my leg of the floor really hard and try whipping my whole body but i cant manage to keep my hands off the floor, even one hand i can do but i cant do a simple aerial :/

Its pretty difficult at first, I would just recommend learning it one a spring or rod floor first, that way you'll get more bounce and be higher off the ground and it will actually be more difficult for your hands to touch the floor.

Keep your head up! ....literally (;

I love this tutorial because they go over the aggressive kick from the back leg, pop cartwheels, and other helpful drills.
