I wish people would leave this style uniform to f5.

shots including the male uni and comparison on a youth athlete. Pictures aren't super high quality (but it does show a sneak peak of the new gym coming soon :) )
love this! total transformation from last years worlds uni! I love it! the only thing i would change would be the guys pants, I wish they have a white stripe down the side, lined in silver, other than that love love love it. Tell Collin and Preston I said hey:)

Hmm....I wonder if this could be considered a full top if they just stuck in some nude mesh?
theres a high school dance team who isnt allowed to wear their half tops, so they wear a flesh colored unitard thingy, it looks silly up close, but from far away you cant tell...

The Fame blue stripe uniform that is a wannabe full top is just.............EEK. I say no to that

The Extreme uni is alright, I like the colors.

Im not going to comment on the Pride uniform---to each their own. I personally would not have put "white" over the abdomen especially with that design.

My biggest problem is full tops that move around a lot. I have competed in a leo and skirt before (UC level 5 uniforms from 08 or 09 to 2010 i believe it was) and i was absolutely fine because it was form fitting and i didnt have to worry about the top moving because it was a leo. I hate when people pull down skirts in routines and pulling down a top or adjusting it is just as bad IMO:confused: I did enjoy the leo uniform though. Except when you really have to go to the bathroom. It can be quite a struggle to get out of then. :p

I'm designing a new uniform for next year. I'm REALLY leaning toward a Leo style but I'm worried about a couple of things so maybe you can help:
1. We always have someone that has to pee in warm ups. You'd have to completely strip down, which isn't an easy process that can be done quickly...
2. If we got a snap at the crotch style, people ask me if I worry they'll come undone onstage. We had the kind that snaps when I was high school and never had a problem but we also didn't have nearly the difficulty level these girls do now. I am hoping it would be ok.

Idk, now I'm thinking just attach the skirt to the Leo (I hate dress uniforms though so I'd want it to LOOK like two separate pieces still).

Your thoughts on the Leo? I really want that smooth look for the full top. I hate the bunching regular full tops do now.

just make sure your girls wear spankie/bloomers/whatever you call them over the leo if you go with this choice.
and you could get a leo and then just wear the skirt over it, I know there's some examples like that in this thread but I can't remember what team exactly

That's the plan. Their spanks are attached to their skirt so it would definitely be over the Leo.

I remember when I was a dancer we had cutoms that looked like gymnastic leos. But we had two little buttons to easy open them if we had to go to the toilet. Like babys have on their clothes. It looks like this.
Sorry this is the best picture I could find.
Do you have this in US? We have a lot clothes with this.

Well your in luck, cuz the real pants do have it. Those are last years, they didn't send the pants with the final product. And I will do. What gym are you from?

This was pretty much my set up in Pop Warner about 15 years ago, ha. No built in spanks, but we wore the spanks over our snap-bottom turtleneck/leo thing.

I hate when teams have full tops but they are either too short or shrink so you always see a little bit of stomach popping out during the routine.

We had regular leos with a skirt. To prevent the skirt from moving it had attached bloomers inside. The hardest part about getting out of the leo was actually the way our skirt buttoned in the back. Nobody could unbotton/button it themselves and that caused a lot of issues. Sliding out of the leo was actually much easier than getting in to it (we had back cut outs...) the leo didn't cause most of our problems. overall, probably my favorite uniform i have ever worn. It was comfortable and looked great on all body types.
