I don't think they don't want it posted because it wasn't a good performance, it's to keep the routine private (obviously a competition is public, but there were only a few teams there as opposed to the entire internet).
But when you compete, you open yourself up....your routine is only private until you perform it. You don't want people to see the routine.....don't compete. All the large all girl 5 times don't compete until they're ready for the world to see the routine. They don't have the luxury of not having videos posted. Lime is now a high profile team, sorry not sorry we love them and want to see a video.

gotta agree 100%. if your competing, your out there for everyone to see.
but also on that note - gotta give HUGE props to teams competing this early! Gosh - we're not even doing full outs yet!!

i switched my favorite football team from miami dolphins to greenbay packers because i love lime so much (is that creepy?) just because they fell isnt going to make me not love them. this anticipation is killing me i cant wait to see them
Lmao! Totally random, but I absolute love the Dolphins fight song by T-Pain and I'm currently living in GB haha

Some mom at the UGA clinic today started talking about Lime and what their stunt was and I almost considered walking out of the clinic to come here and find a video and get the gossip...

Good thing I didn't cause their isn't a video!! WHERE IS IT?!

First of all thank you everyone for the excitement. We really appreciate it! Our whole program had an awesome season opener! NOT PERFECT, but a great run of routines! We appreciate all of the support of our parents, and we had a lot recording at this event. Heck I even looked around and saw so many phones up I told the girls I think by tonight you will be able to see your routine no problem :) Most of our teams have different videos floating around and it is ok. I think everyone is assuming that we said not to post, and that isn't correct. If someone has a video it is what it is and worlds ready or not the internet is live and fast. We do not tell our parents not to post some do, and some don't. Some post private to show family, some don't. Like our Tiny 1 is up and cute as ever and so is Platinum our Junior 3. I didn't tell them to take them down it is good for the kids to see.

I also think as a GBE parent when kids don't hit and it isn't your own I think they respect the kids on the team and don't want to hurt any feelings by posting a video. Which I think is very respectful of the parents to the kids on the team. They work as a unit and it is very special. It is what it is. Not our best, not our worst but they didn't hit and hey no stress on our end it is October. We are working very hard to add skills each competition and it is always our goal to give the crowd a good show!
Thank you for the support and congrats to all of the teams at GLCC Milwaukee!!

Like, if you aren't going to hit, don't compete so early. There are plenty of great teams out there that have had bad performances. Brandon, Smoed, Rockstar, Cali Elite, f5...all have had tragic performances recorded... It's the cycle of the cheer world. Doesn't mean we think any less of the teams.

If we all waited until we were 100% ready, then would we ever actually take the floor? Our teams competed this weekend too, and it was the earliest we've ever competed by about a month. It was good motivation to push hard all summer, and the kids really had to give it everything to be ready (or well, close to ready). Our kids are going to have a leg up this year because now we're working on cleaning up and adding difficulty where other are working on choreography still. Sometimes you just have to rip off the bandaid and get out there.

I agree. For many gyms that the "fans" are "dying" to see now so their video and music can give them "life" the real season does not even begin to January. Everything till then is just a warm up and the ability for coaches to tweak routines after seeing how they actually score on the scoresheets. Many gyms have varying different philosophies not only when to start competing, but at what point of perfection the routine should be and not wanting to peak too early. IMO you want to be sharpest at bid competitions and Worlds, or whatever your gym designates as the big comp for your squad. It is not which philosophy is right, but which one works best for you, your athletes, your parents and your program goals. Not necessarily the one that works best for your fans, or your "fake fans" - ie your competitors who just want to really see what you have up your sleeve this year. This where I feel the demand for videos comes in greatest. Not the actual program itself wanting to see videos, but everybody else wanting to see - and comment on their video. And of course some just have to be the person - that cheerarazi - that puts the video out first. :D
