The water is now about 3 1/2 feet high in my garage !

What are the odds one of those trees will fall on my house? BIG trees....they look like twigs moving back and forth, crazy wind gusts. Lights flickering...will see how long we have electricity.

I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to go through this. This is one reason that I'm glad I live in Wisconsin! Stay safe everyone!!!

The wind has really picked up here in Hillsborough, NJ.....I have a friend who was just told that her the first floor of her house in Cape May has 4 feet of water and rising since it's not high tide yet but the roof and trees are ok...everyone please pray for the Jersey Shore!!!

cheercurl Stay downwind side of house. During Ike, my neighborhood was hit hard with downed trees.

This wind is unbelievable... I'm in Flemington, NJ. My house is creaking every time the wind blows. Thankfully I haven't lost power yet, but the lights keep flickering. We actually haven't gotten much rain yet either.

Lost power around 4:40. We're all chilling in the basement where we plan to sleep tonight since we have trees in the front and back of house. The wind is howling and the trees are shaking like crazy. Just praying nothing falls and that my trampoline doesn't get lifted up. This is truly scary.

We are not far from Flemington...starting to get intense winds. Grateful to still have power...for now. Be safe neighbor!
