Personally, I think there's way too much going on in SE's routine. It seems almost cluttered to me. That's why I really liked panthers routine. But you guys are only comparing the two routines; we haven't even seen the rest of the large senior teams. Shooting stars is absolutely amazing this year. And I'm super excited to see what peach and F5 bring to the table. Honestly, I don't like when people make worlds predictions this early. It could honestly go to anyone!
and since when was this thread converted to a worlds prediction thread? it only aimed to compare the FIRST routines of panthers and SE. get real

i really hope panthers improve their routine over the course of the season, i dont think it will be able to stand against SE and F5 come worlds, but its still early in the season. I do love SE routine but they got some major cleaning up to do as far as tumbling and formations, etc. just waiting now to see what Shooting stars and F5 routines look like. but overall im a huge Panthers fan, i loved their worlds routines from 2011 and 2012.

Compared to

Pretty much the exact same routine really. Major changes were that they watered down the opening stunt by taking out the stretch full around so that everyone would hit clean, they added in a extra stright up and down stunt section with 10 groups, and added a few new entries and exits to the pyramid. Nothing major but they sure did sweep every competition last year!

This year I feel a few more major changes will be needed to spice up this years routine but thats just my opinion. Only time will tell how they fare against Senior Elite in the future.

Now before I start let me just say I am not biased to ANY of the LAG teams. Almost every single year I have favored a different team.

The only part of Senior Elite's routine I have a problem with is their standing tumbling. It needs to be cleaned up A LOT in my opinion. But everything else... rock solid. Panthers has the advantage in standing tumbling. It took me a few views of their performance to really warm up to it because of how original and new it is but I'm really loving it. Their stunting is underwhelming at the moment, even if all of those stunts were hitting and not as watered down I would still be slightly underwhelmed. The running tumbling... Senior Elite wins that for me also. It has many more specialty passes rather than Panthers while still having more than one person doing it at the same time, even if it feels a bit... repetitive come the end of the tumbling. Senior Elite's pyramid destroys Panthers also but Panthers dance is killer.

Overall, standing tumbling and jumps in Panthers favor, pyramid, stunting, baskets, and running tumbling in SE's.

No I am not making any predictions because all the scoresheets are different and who knows which scoresheets will favor which routine. This is all personal opinion and SE takes the cake for me right now.

Well well said. I agree 100% and look forward to further comments from you. :)

Upped tumbling. They might have taken out a fullup but they also added one too. Jumps are MUCH better. Pyramid is night and day. Performance is extremely better. I understand what you're saying but they definitely did not compete the same routine in November and April.
