All-Star 2012-2013 Music!

I'm in no way trying to hate on Orange or Wildcats, but I just don't like how the same producer pretty much used the same voiceover in those two mixes. It's unique, not like a standard voiceover so it sticks out a lot more and makes it seem a lot less creative. jmo

I'm a big Stingray fan myself. Love their gym and admire their teams (esp Orange). Very sad they had to get rid of smoke actually :-(

But this music doesn't do it for me. It has 4 actual songs and sounds like every team that the same producer mixes for. Literally replace the team name with theirs (and just the team names) and you couldn't tell who's mix would fit with which team. It's almost like he/she is depending on the rappers to be original for him, and he just mixes it? The Siri thing just tops it off for me lol. Different words that she says, but why would you use the same concept that "you" yourself put in another team. Last years mix (although had *some* parts that had remixes) was original enough for me and (IMO) *crushes* this one.

Again, not a bust to Orange. If they love it, great! that's all that matters, nothing will ever change me from being a stingray fan. In fact i'm rooting for them to win worlds again!

I really used to enjoy hearing voiceovers in mixes, back when they were used with enough moderation to actually stand out.

The trend of saturating mixes with so many voiceovers/sing-overs/whatever has started to make me feel like I'm not listening to an actual mix so much as a conglomeration of Weird Al Yankovic songs, but less funny.

im not a big fan of orange this year, I don't know why but its just not working for me. Maybe it will grow on me later if i keep listening. I do like the ending voicover though!

I need to see oranges routine to fully appreciate the music. I was a bit let down with the mix, and the Siri VoiceOver - was real cute for wildcats but got old real quick with orange. lat seasons had so much energy but this mix was on customized VoiceOver overload.

I cant wait to see these stunts on orange!! Love the whole mixxx minus the dance ugh

So wait ppl thats like me saying people who use sound effects like "ding ding" twisting sound effects or the same songs in mixes from the same producers or not.. are not creative and their music is not original because of it -_- siri is hot in both mixes people and ORIGINAL in its own way.

Yes, back in 2009 when voiceovers where new . . and 1 liners are alredi great . . I miss those mixes. The raps, however are getting creative . . . I think (Patrick's side) Patrick was being creative on replacing actual songs and have it sung with a different lyrics instead of a voiceover just being said . . . I wouldnt mind too many voiceovers in a mix as long as they don't destroy the whole flow of the mix . ..
Panthers' mix this year got me back . . . i totally fell in love with it . . . Orange's mix is actually good . . . after hearing it 3x, I actually like it . . . and may go behind Panthers on my Top Mixes list . . .

In the end, you guys, if the team/gym wants it more personal - then VOICEOVERS.
If the team wants actual songs, then the SONGS. . .

Really, it's hard to be original these days. Songs are not owned by anyone (except the artist) . . . and I remember everyone (or most of the people here) complaining about BACK AGAIN (2010) and TITANIUM (2012) being the most overplayed or overused in a mix.

Let's just enjoy the mixes and let the teams do the talking . . . We should be grateful that these mixes are being released (and for free) for us to download/listen. Back in 2007-2008, "Trading" mixes was "the" business and it got worst when most people got really greedy with what they got . . . so . . CHILLLLL . . .

For some reason, I don't like the siri voiceover in either routine...but overall I love wildcats and orange! just not quite feeling siri in cheer music...
