I've played around with mixing music and am interested in investing in some software at this point. I know most of the "big" cheer music producers use Sony Acid but I'm curious if anyone is or has used Apple's Logic Pro? I know it's essentially the standard for professional music producers around the world & I'm wondering if it could be used as easily for cheer music.

Cheer Music Producing is a little different than regular music producing. I would stick with Acid. There's a reason we all use it!

There are lots and lots of reasons that Acid caters to cheer music production that are too numerous and detailed to go into here. I do not believe that Sony Acid Pro is the best piece of software out there (far from it), but it is undeniably the best for this job. Trust someone who has lots of experience in almost every DAW on the market. I've been mixing cheer music since we did it on a dual-cassette boom boxes tape-to-tape, and have been using Acid since version 2.0

I have Logic Pro because they don't make Acid for macs. Here's a mix I did for a mid school with only logic: School Sample 3
Logic is also very user friendly. I downloaded an Acid trial and could not understand it at all :/
So, sorry I cant compare. Most mixers use Acid

The mix is great! Can you tell me where did you get your effects? Thanks for answer!
