Actually--all of the skills performed were legal to do on that type of floor....not necessarily the best surface, but all legal (according to AACCA)
Legal but destructive to the girls' bodies! Don't get me wrong, they are amazing and talented, but all that tumbling on the hard floor is going to screw them up in the long run. With all the new safety standards coming out you would think this would be changed to use mats

Yeah...that's why I said it wasn't the best surface....

This has always bothered me about WV cheerleading. They have always competed on that surface. In the past with speciality passes to fulls. No twisting is allowed any more for safety. Get those girls some mats and let them show you what they can really do! Awesome job Brooke! From a former WHS cheer mom!!

Its so weird to see Brooke and no fulls (I know it's the rules, still) I just assume every tumbling pass will end with one! I'm from west virginia and I grew up idolizing the Brooke Cheerleaders!:)

This is the same for tumbling at my school. We have to stunt on mats but there is no rule for tumbling. Put it in an extreme case: it's worse for one girl in a stunt to land on her neck on a hard floor than to have five tumblers land on their necks and get injured.

*great performance and I <3 your routine
