Bought a curling wand because I thought I'd have to emergency-curl CP's hair (long story) the morning of a competition a few weeks ago instead of doing rollers overnight and my curling iron is too big to do cheer curls right. Didn't have to for comp, ended up playing with it the other night on my own hair and it is the greatest thing ever. My hair never ever holds a curl - foam curlers, hot curlers, curling iron, curling brush, nothing - until now! I heard everyone rave about it on the hair thread last year, I believed them it was better than an iron but figured it was just because it was slightly easier to use. It's so fast and works so much better. Had to rave somewhere, my husband would've thought I really done lost it if I started cooing about it to him :)

My older sister did. Don't keep pushing yourself on it, because it gets worse and then you can strain and possibly tear ligaments, the MCL or ACL.

I'm not doing any sports or activities thankfully. But it was a stupid way to injure myself. I went to the orthopedic and he said it was fine to walk on it but its been super painful and it gives out on me. I'm not sure what to do now

Aww I'm sorry! I know its a lot of pain. My sister iced hers twice a day and wore a knee brace. Try to not walk on it a lot, but don't over compensate by putting lots of weight on the other leg because that could hurt the other. I'm not a doctor but I suggest rest, ice, heat, and biofreeze!

I usually keep it elevated but I think I will start to ice it. Thanks so much!

I have a mri on my back on Thursday. I have to be put to sleep because I'm so clostraphobic, but I'm also terrified of needles... I get the results next Monday! I really hope its not fractured but the doctor at the orthapedic said she was in no way ruling it out because from my x rays it looks like a slight possiblity. She said if it IS a fracture it isn't a big one because I can still walk... So that's good I guess!

Seriously why is there no gym downtown near me? why are they all in suburbs that take like an hour and a half to get to by public transit, like honestly I miss cheer like crazy and am itching to get back into a gym to cheer or coach or something

3 Words: Mock. The. Week.

It's a BBC program that my No-Longer-Not-Quite-Irish-Boyfriend kept watching while I was over there. It was all the 'Too Hot for TV' stuff that's too inappropriate to air. It's hilarious..the first 5 minutes of one video I was crying so hard I could barely breathe...
