But the past couple of years during Worlds there's been a separate chat (sort of like tinychat) where all the people stuck at home can talk in a way that's easier than posting in a thread.

I know during big competition weekends the board would slow down because there was so much traffic to the site, so Kingston would shut it off. Think it was just easier to leave it off? Not positive actually *shrug*
