Does anyone have a team doing one leg stunts at prep level that is connected to someone standing on the floor? Are they being scored in the pyramid section or partner stunt section of the scoresheet??

It's scored in pyramid. At least that's my understanding, because its braced/connected. Definitely room to argue either way though

It's supposed to be scored as a pyramid but I've seen multiple occasions where it is not. There is a team my CP's has been up against multiple times that does not have any 1-legged stunts in their routine except for the braced ones at prep level. If it were scored properly as a pyramid, there is no way they'd be receiving the scores they have.

We do this and have been to 3 competitions so far this season under JamBrands. It has been scored under pyramids each time. They made a point to write on the scoresheet this last time in Gatlinburg that it falls under the pyramid section. I think it should get pyramid credit since you can't legally do prep level without the connection and the connection makes it a pyramid. What does everyone else think on this?

I definitely think it is supposed to count as a pyramid score...whether I think it should be or not, I am not sure. For my team, we already have a great pyramid so it's not worth doing the stunt unless it is going to be scored as individual stunt since we score lower on our stunts. I am trying to find something to up our score there going into preps or out of them

Thanks, she is a cutie. Quite the performer!

We have no problem maxing (under JamBrands) the body positions or pyramid structures, but we are not yet maxed out on LDTs in either catagory. Any suggestions? We already switch up twice and cradle from prep for stunt. For pyramid we fwo entry and cradle from prep level 1 leg.

I'm having this problem too. For the Jam/US Finals scoresheet, try adding a quarter up into a stunt and an inversion before a stunt. For example, my kids hit a LDT and max on numbers because one of my sequences has 5 one-mans (11 kids) and we quarter up libs from the side to the front.

LDT?

It's a scoresheet term. Level difficulty something I think? Basically means you're doing level-appropriate load-ins, transitions and dismounts.

The inversion before the stunt is killing me... my minis do their inversion as their dismount (they back walkover off) so I don't think that's going to help us

When you backwalkover off, do you keep the foot up on the thigh? Assuming it's a thigh level stunt. We were trying this, having trouble getting legs straight.

Yeah, and the back spot kind of touches their back and follows over with their leg. They don't help but they stay in contact all the way through. It definitely took a while for them to get used to starting with their foot on the thigh.
