Ok so from what I gathered, at the competition sot competed at, the revisement rules weren't posted yet. And as of today, standing hand whip full whip double is Illegal and standing hand full whip double is also illegal. Also even Hand whip whip double is illegal cuz since its the first double, one of them must b a handspring cuz the new immediately term are the consecutive skis prior to the double.

Twitter / _DeeOnYaMind: @WUtoDouble those are legal ...

There's a pic right there of a similar ruling.

What I find ridiculous is that they are still modifying rules and revising. They need to have a certain date to have the FINAL rules, cuz ie in coreo, some ppl might sync 3 to dubs with hand full whip doubles. Which are updatedly illegal

With the revisement that makes hand full whip whip doubles illegal as well since one of the 2 non twisting skills aren't a bhs

Taken directly from Les Stella twitter. Sorry if anyone is offended but I take Les over anyone. I will continue to say I disagree with this rule, but a rule is a rule, change or take the penalty. Just bc you've done it doesn't mean you won't ever get a deduction. It's like playing with a snake, just bc you haven't been bitten doesn't mean it can't happen.

BHS>whip>full>whip.double is illegal. However, BHS>whip>double>whip>double is legal. Yes, sometimes less difficult skills are illegal.

And are you talking standing tumbling? So she does a standing whip, full, whip double? Or are you saying she does this in a running pass (i.e. round off whip, full, whip, double)??
That person must be talking about running since they quoted a part of the running rules.

I received a 41 point deduction this weekend from Gssa for this pass. When I approached the judges to ask them about this because the rule doesn't state that my pass is illegal the lady told me don't you follow Les on twitter he posted about this two weeks ago. (ummm no i dont follow him, i didnt know that was a new requirement amongest mant rediculese things that this cheer monoply is making us do now a days. According to the rules the pass I had my boy do would be a grey area pass. When asked I was told there was a clarification sent out, the. I asked where and no one could answer. I find this very annoying that the Cheeropoly company wants to make all these new rules and hold atheltes back but doesn't want to clarify it on the rules website.

Not trying to defend them but this was always meant to be illegal. I told les at a regional meeting that I know people working back extension roll Hs double. He said everyone should know that a back extension roll ont a backwards tumbling skill because it stops in a handstand. Clearly I was right in saying that many people would argue otherwise. But they didn't feel a clarification was necessary until now.

For many years I have won World Titles by playing in the grey area. All I am asking is if you are going clarify rules put it on the rules website. Not Les twitter. If the rule stated that a single twisting skill counted out the prior no. Twisting skills the. I would say it would be illegal.

shawn im assuming you coach Force Med? thats what brought it up to me, because despite what welcomeback said, it was in fact LEGAL prior to the new revision.

cheerupdates posted that that Force med had an illegal pass? and i watched it and didnt see anything, with the old revisions. but then learned of the revisions and it does say it online now sadly, which brings me to my point that it is still ridiculous that they are still changing the rules...

Since The rule changed I always thought it stated a double full had to be proceeded by 2 backward motions in standing tumbling?

For clarification the rules are written on usasfrules.com. They can be looked at and are formatted for phones. As cheerleaders don't have a consistent method of communication, they rely on twitter and a live updated site as when you print rules manuals they can be out of date. I don't think it's a perfect solution, but the one that works the best for the situation. There currently just isn't a way to issue clarifications globally that everyone reads.

Which is why we shouldn't change rules in the middle of the season!

It was not legal prior to the clarification. Ask anyone who was safety certified. Les specifically told us that it was not.
