any information on how this website works, or on any rules and regulations it may have would be helpful :) some info on me is I'm 14 and on a level 2 cheer team

You're a newbie. So, piece of advice: tread carefully. Newbies sometimes say things that aren't phrased in the most respectful way, and they tend to get attacked more than a seasoned member :p So make sure your comments aren't rude, try to be nice and thoughtful.
Use the search bar. don't start new threads that already exist - people will get angry.
If someone is trying to help you b/c you're a newbie, don't attack them! You'll get a bad reputation.
If we're in a thread like "new uniforms" or "new practice wear" or anything where we post pictures/new information, check to see if what you're going to post has already been posted. People get annoyed when they've already discussed MD twisters new unis, and then someone posts another pic of them.
Try to avoid arguments.
Don't say ANYTHING about flyers being too heavy, how heavy is too heavy, etc. just dont.
Use proper grammar :) as much as possible. I know I don't always capitalize things, but if ur typn lyk dis ppl wil gt anoyed bcuz itz hard 2 read. haha :)
Don't be too defensive of things! Accept people's critiques. People usually have good intentions on here, if they comment on a uniform, they're just stating their opinion, so if it's your gym, don't be like "OMG YOU'RE SO MEAN BUT WE LOVE THEM AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS." people get annoyed.
Just thought of one: Caps Lock is a no.
read the thread about how to get cat memed. cat memed is a bad thing. You don't want that, so if it says something in there, DONT DO IT

ETA: people will be quick to pounce if you make a mistake! so props to you for asking. now you know :)
also.... CP = cheer princess. ETA = edited to add. EP = Event producer. "Not GK" = varsity

Welcome! At the top of the newbie section is a post called something like "all newbies please read this". That will give you a TON of information :)

Its like on Facebook, when you like it. Its bascially the same thing. The more shimmies you have, the cooler you are :)

So if you see something you agree with or think is funny or just like it, shimmy away!

ETA; I gave you your first shimmy :)

How do you start a new thread?

I don't know an easier way to do it but go to the search bar and type in "newbies forum" then click on one of the threads then scroll to the top and click on the button that says "newbies" then scroll down a little bit and it should say "start a new thread on a blue button.
