I don't usually watch many of the international teams but am doing some serious procrastination today and somehow ended up in this thread.

Is the tag line for that comp seriously "cheer stunt tumble party"?!?? I've got to make it to a Canadian event now!!

Hahah yes, there is an official "after party" to PCA at a local bar. The competition is only open and university teams, so most are over 19 and can go out. It's a LOT of fun.

PCA is also the only competition I know of that posts final results before awards......

haha yup and literally. Competition cheer stunt tumble ...and the party is afterwards both days. After all-start its a smaller party and then after collegiate/university teams on the saturday its a BIG party with most of the all-start and college/uni teams in attendance to the same local bar ...every year. It's interesting to say the least lol :)

Waking up the next day is the interesting part... But I'll leave my Nationals experience for the 18+ section...

agreed I wouldn't divulge the festivities that happens at PCA lol but it most definitely one of my favorite times of the year and that's putting it mildly :) lol

Congrats to Flyers All-Starz for capturing all 3 bids for the Cheerleading Worlds at Adrenaline in Montreal yesterday (and all 20 teams coming in 1st place!) and special mention to their Senior 5 team who was a close 4th in the bid rankings.
Partial Paid: International Open Coed 6
At-large: International Open All girl 6
At-large: International All girl 5

For the life of me, I can't figure out why the Cheer Canada score sheets insist on a 2 trick double and a 1 trick double.

Agreed. Coaching level 4 I just stare at it because I cannot figure out what a 2 skill dismount from 2 legs is..maybe I'm slow?
