Anyone watching Miss Universe?
Miss USA tripped, and looked so pressed. Her dress was hideous.
SO MANY of these dresses were just terrible, I can't even take it.
South Africa is my new flawless queen-she better win!

2 things-

I was watching TLC, and this Long Island Medium show is my new obsession.

AND We came up with a new family tradition-- no presents under the tree until Christmas Eve. That way you're not guessing what a present is ( i once mentally guessed a gift was a camera, but it was candy instead) so no disappointment!

My mom's having a Christmas party right now and I'm stuck in my room studying for finals stupid senior year. There's so much laughter and enjoyment going on in my house right now and I'm extremely jealous of them all.

I thought Miss Australia was BEAUTIFUL! The dress and hair style they picked out for Miss USA was awful...didn't compliment her to her very best.

So for the past few weeks I have been practically stalking every local radio station in my area for Hunter Hayes and Carrie Underwood tickets. I found a station giving them away as part of some Christmas thing and I have been trying all week for them and want them so bad! Meanwhile I was home alone and upset that I didn't get through to the station again when my sister calls me saying not only did she win me tickets to see Hunter and Carrie but also to meet Hunter Hayes this saturday! I am so excited and don't know how to thank her! It's seriously the best christmas present ever!

Sorry for such a long post I just got really happy. She knew how badly I wanted them

I won't attack you, instead I'll get attacked for my belief that Komova is 100x the gymnast Gabby could ever dream of being. She didn't have a great Olympics at all, but she's easily the best all around gymnast from the last quad. It'll be interesting to see her go for 2016.

Spent my whole cruise nursing my mother who had the flu

I felt so bad for her. Instead of doing fun stuff we ended up in the room with room service and getting off the boat at the Caymans just to find a drug store for meds.

It's breaking my heart that I more than likely have to face giving up cheerleading. My mum just lost her job and my parents can no longer afford to pay for it and after searching month after month for a job it looks near impossible. Cheer was my way of getting away from all my problems and just focus on skills, hang with my family basically and just forget about everything. But I supposed you have to keep positive, I got to spend seven years in this wonderful sport.

I won't bite either. Gabby wasn't really one of my favorite US gymnasts from the start. Always been an Aly fan if were talking US only. But....my favorite is Catalina Ponor from Romania. She was amazing when she was younger. And the fact that she's 27? now and still going just as hard as she was when she was a teenager is mind boggling to me. And I loved her floor routine from this past Olympics. Definitely showing her age and a bit of sass.

I passed Econ!!! Seriously so happy, I thought I would for sure fail. Anyway, I survived my first semester of college

It's already 12/21/12 here and look....I'm still alive!! yay me

You just won all the points! Catalina is only 24 right now, 16 in the 04 Olympics, but nonetheless, to take 5 years off and come back and win 2nd in floor final and deserve 3rd in beam final is impressive. Her floor event finals routine was textbook perfect in terms of landings. Loved her schooling the new girls!
Rumour is she's moving on to modeling now that her gymnastics career is over
