I feel weird saying this , buuut i don't think Alicia and her husband are terrible coaches... i just don't understand why they are doing this show... why would you want to be shown on TV when you forgot to bring the right music to the Baseball game? Makes you seem very unprofessional...
And those Moms...no comment

If you want to read the recap check out tvgasm.com and click on recaps. They did both the pilot and the new episode...both are hilarious.
I think all the comments might be more disturbing than the show....if they're even legit to begin with.

Now, that i´ve finally seen it:

I feel it´s less about cheerleading (compared to season 1) than about the mom´s. And these mom´s are really... they are acting like high school teenage girls wanting to be better than the other.

And i felt so bad for this little girl (sorry, don´t know her name), she was sitting with her mom after the perfomance at the baseball game and said: I´m sorry. While her mom kept telling her how bad she was and the whole team.

I coach a youth team, and if the night before a performance like this, is see that they are not ready to perform the routine, i will water it down so they can go out there with confidence.
But that is obviously not what most people want to see in a show like this.

But i have to confess: I will watch episode 2 if it will be online. At least it is funny to watch.

Haven't watched the episode yet planking on it when I have time today. I can only imagine from remembering the pilot episodes. The funny thing for me is I hate that I was over youth age when I came to FCA. Emeralds has always been amazing and I will forever and ever wish I could have been on that team! Funny though i never would be caught dead on youth silver.

What's the other team (from another gym) that will be featured on the next episode? They obviously aren't a level 2 so I don't understand the whole point of them coming. Then again, I dont understand the point of the show in general!

I am thinking it is an in gym competition because the two mom's from junior orange make the comment "yeah she's scared" about Ann as she stomps away...

I don't understand......when my daughter started at the age of 4, that was her team basically. Sloppy, hit or miss, some girls clueless. Anyway, why are we making a show of that team?? And why do I have to listen to that mom over and over and over "this is the elite team of this gym and I want my daughter on it"??? I am soooooo tired of that commercial and her!! If that's the goals she sets for her daughter, then I feel sorry for that child!!

I'm sure most of those girls will all be amazing one day, their young and have many years ahead of them. I just have to are wonder, are we that desperate for programing?? Come on.....if we have to highlight crazy cheer moms, at least make the gyms incredible, the teams awesome, and the routines enjoyable to watch. I've served my time watching L1.

The show is about the drama. If you don't like it don't watch it, I admit I didn't care for it at 1st. I also won't watch it thinking that's what cheer is about, it's a show meant to create drama for those that like drama. Why do we watch it, cp seems to like it since she cheers and it's good leverage to get her room cleaned etc. I read postings that speak of other cheer shows posters enjoyed more. When are these shows on if they are even on anymore? Is their a reason they aren't on anymore? The only other cheer show I've been able to find on TV is the one about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, uhm.... that's all I can say about that show. Really, is cheer 100% drama free, thus the show finds a few thing (even making things up) and makes a story out of it. Just like a movie that is based on true events, their is a lot of twisting in it to make it a movie that people want to see. I'll admit, cp's gym isn't 100% free of drama either. Among the many other things my children have participated in during their lives, even Girl/Boy Scouts had drama. Actually I think the few pageants cp has done has had the less drama (has in none) -lol- But I do wonder a couple thing about Cheer Perfection, the one mother whom pulled her daughter from the so called Elite team, how is she going to get her self involved in the show if her daughter isn't on the team? I also don't understand why they want to attend US Finals in Ohio. I would think Kansas City or Bantan Rouge are closer, unless they don't want to compete against other Arkansas gyms? Anyway, at cp's last comp. CTR was their, cp told me she saw Alisha and the daughters. I also saw RD and a couple of the moms from the show. Their daughters must cross over, their was no level 2 Youth from their gym at the comp. I would like a show that featured different gyms, show some large known gyms that go to worlds, large gyms that aren't so famous. Talk about the ones that drive for a couple hours to their gym or even those that fly. Small unknown gyms and the struggles a small gym have. Just because you are small doesn't mean you aren't good. Different levels and ages. Girls that have done cheer for years and struggle with landing their tuck while another girl can come knowing nothing to landing a perfect tuck at the end of the season. Someone that has flown for years that seems to lose it all of a sudden. I heavy girl you would never guess could jump really can. Even if you can't do a back hand spring, doesn't mean you can't be a dam good base. The ups and downs and how their is a spot for you no matter what skill level. Just because you aren't the popular one at school doesn't mean you can't be a cheerleader. That may make for a good show??? But then maybe not.

Although I know there are plenty of parents that do this....it is HORRIFYING!!

I remember the first time my CP let a stunt drop at a comp (July 11).....she was 13 and came to me in tears and all she could do was apologize to me over and over!! She said she felt she had disappointed me.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing!! All I have ever expected out of her was that she do her best. I know she didn't do it on purpose! I felt horrible for her! I felt it was time to quit, if she felt this way. We didn't, but she knows that as long as she does her best, I am not disappointed!

Parents that berate their kids should be shot!! They have no idea what they are doing to these children and their self esteem!!

It's sad. I'm working tucks right now, just got my side aerial, and have a solid multiple back handsprings, but no front walkover. I can't figure it out. I have the least flexible back in the world.

My CP has her layout and is working on her full. Her front walk-over is spotty at best. I always thought this was sooo strange, but I'm glad to see that other athletes have this same prob!!
