Hi everyone, I just wanted to know how get these really done. I mean my sister and I know how to do the forms and everything and we barely need a spotter, but we're still afraid to do it by ourselves. What I'm basically saying is can you guys give us some tips on not being afraid of doing both front and back handsprings by ourselves? That'll be greatly appreciated. Thank you. : ) <3

First you have to trust your body. Know that if you lock your arms, stay aggressive and keep the correct body forms like mentioned above, I would say the worst thing that could happen would be to land on your knees or your butt. There are a lot of great confidence building tips on fortheloveoftumbling.com as well.

When I first started doing my back handsprings by myself I was scared... But then I told myself I could move up a level if I just do it. I worked them on a hill or cheese mat and just keep going down untill I'm on the ground!

Okay I'll try that thank you. :)

As strange as it sounds FHS seem to be much harder to get. It would make sense that going forwards is easier but to get it right with correct form takes time.
