Ok, I really need to ask about everyone's obsession with Lady Lightening. A few of my daughter's friends, my daughter and myself watched day two of WSF because that was the clearest video available. They were extremely disappointing considering the way everyone was talking about them on the boards. Lots of drops, stunt falls, and extreme sloppiness. Are we watching the right team? ICE Lady Lightening???

watch this video IDK what your watching

I think ICE looks amazing but it is way to early to crown a World Champion. Teams look at score sheets and add difficulty all season long leading to Worlds. Some times it is harder to be on top early and to stay there. Either way ICE you look great....

From what I've seen, as of right now I think it's a really close race between Cali Elite and Generals definitely for first place and then Lady Lightning, Lime and SSX are going to be really close in the race for 3rd, 4th and 5th place. I'm waiting to see what Spirit Central does with their routine. I saw them in Worcester a few weeks ago and their routine looked really watered down, so I have to wait and see what their real routine looks like before I make a judgement on them.

What most people are for getting is the WORLDS score sheet (building skill) tumbling is not a factor anymore point taken by (South Elite) reason why I put ICE on top

Stingrays Orange won Worlds almost completely based on the fact that they could tumble better than Cali Elite last year, as their building score was lower than Cali's (I'm about 99% sure of this). CA Cheetahs also are an example of this. Nearly the same building score as the other top teams, yet they pulled out a 99 in tumbling, giving them the huge edge. Though I don't know the scores, I wouldn't hesitate to say Medium Coed was the only senior division that placings were given so heavily based on stunting ability, and that only applies to South Elite.

And if you'd like to talk building skills, ICE has none to little advantage on Cali Elite, almost zero advantage on Woodlands Elite (a 1 1/2 up vs a double up), and not really any advantage on GBE.

You must be watching the wrong thing.

Thank you, so I was watching the right team I just picked a video of a bad performance. This video must have been Day 1 and was much better. Still not overly amazed by them but am pretty spoiled by teams like ssx, Cali, and orange (before this year of course). Since there's not a lot of strong competition in this division I could see top 10 or maybe even top 5 if they hit.

Having a daughter in this division for the past 4 years, I have to respectfully disagree and say that this year especially there is a lot of strong competition in this division. There are teams returning to this division such as ICE, AZ Envy, Woodlands and WC Suns - and other teams that have improved drastically, not to mention new teams, and veteran teams.. - this division is very competitive.

Really all you have to do is go the results of the American Grand in Las Vegas and see how close this division is and it is only December (at least for the top four teams at that competition). The top three teams out scored several of the other World's divisions including coed and these are the teams mentioned frequently on this thread. It will only get tighter as the season progresses. Small senior is one of the most difficult divisions - only 20 girls on the floor all have to be talented to rank as one of the top teams in this division nationwide.

ICE had 2 teams in the Small Senior Division at WSF. You might be talking about Ice - Black Ice.
