Trust me, I'm not. Nerver been there and stuck somewhere else. I post my real name so why would I be ashamed to say I was at Trinity? And you said you "hope they fail...." you realize you are talking about children, right?

Try reading that again, dollface. Did I come out and say me personally? No.
And it's not about the kids at all. It's directed towards the leadership based on their business/marketing tactics.

Steven, Steven, Steven - Hard to backpeddle an qualify your remark but ok, give it a shot. When you remark that you want (you or "others" want ) them to "fail" you have to include the kids because they "are" the program and the product. You can't have it both ways. But you prove my point... can't get any better than that.

Hard to make sense out of what you're attempting to say. I'll say this- I feel sorry for the kids in a way, because the gym is probably the most disliked gym in the country because of their owners/coaches actions. However, I don't feel TOO sorry for them, because they've made the obvious choice to be at a gym that functions in such a way. I really don't care. I would be surprised if the gym stays around for longer than a few years at the rate they're going. There is a such thing as bad press, and I think they'll find that out pretty quickly.

I believe he already established that he never said that "he" directly wants them to fail, so your "you want (you or "others" want ) them to 'fail'" argument does not apply.

And I have to say, your sass is oddly familiar to a letter that was circulated from a certain member of Trinity not too long ago, as well as some posts on the Trinity website... but you're right you can't be from Trinity because you give us your full name. Everyone is always who they say they are on the boards so no need to worry guys!

I think the point is this...if they come out this weekend and don't just blow us away with their talent, the only thing that is going to stick in our minds is the bad press, tacky uniforms and poor business tactics of this gym. I know I for one will be waiting intently to hear how they do. Does this have ANYTHING to do with wishing ill on the children? Absolutely not. But unfortunately, a child will suffer for their parents' decisions... Now if they come out looking pretty darned good, I think all of the negative banter will turn into positive comments. We'll see...but I'm not holding my breath...

I too thought the way she writes is oddly familiar to the lady that handles their facebook page as well as that Trinity letter that was being circulated . Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that.

My "sass?" Well since I am from Arizona I am not sure how to take that. LOL
I am happy to scan and upload the cancelled checks from my current gym - they certainly cash them fast enough - and you will clearly see my gymnast is elsewhere. (I am hoping she will go back to gymnastics soon.) Since you are unable to stay on topic and choose to divert the argument elsewhere I'll play along. (You make me miss being in private practice, I will say.)

Gyms that market themselves the way they have seemed to - with the tatics they have used to try and bring kids/talent to their gym always backfires in the long run. It may seem like things go well for awhile at the beginning and talent comes. The gym may even have what they consider a successful season or two - but then promises made to get the talent seldom gets acted on, bad business decisions are made etc - then the talent starts to slowly trickle out till nothing is left, and the gym usually closes. Its not the kids fault - but the parents/kids are lured into believing things/promised things and it snowballs. I have seen a situation like this and it did not end well.

I didn't realize people in Arizona don't understand what someone means when they call you sassy
And I believe you are the one who brought the topic away from uniforms and onto "brand recognition"...
And I'm done.

I would love to see those checks, Thanks!
