I think you are being too modest. This team shoulda - and probably coulda - beat some of the Level 5 teams there. Even with Level 4 tumbling. ;)

Pretty impressive. Thanks for posting the link!

Thank you very much! I really never thought our little team from MN would have recieved so many nice compliments this weekend. It is definitely humbling, especially when you're going against teams like Brandon- whose program I am just in awe of.

So Trinity's behavior, business decisions and lack of tact/class is because "Jamie Parrish started it"? I'm not really a huge Jamie Parrish fan by any meaning, but really? That's the most elementary thing I have heard in ages. This summer I kind of gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after witnessing their behavior in person, hearing their music, and the whole package they have put out there--they disgust me. I pray some of those parents will get out of there ASAP and find a more positive environment for their kids.

It's one thing to judge Trinity one what they personally have done. Every move Trinity make is clouded by ideas and perceptions that they're buying people off and paying people just to cheer for their program. I wish that were the case because I'm responsible for my daughters tuition and nobody has offered to pay that, let alone buy me a house or car or jet ski or whatever other foolishness is floating around. If you judge the without the bias that was created due to the rumors and twitter vomit that Jammie Parrish put in to the atmosphere, that's fine. More power to you. Majority of the people that have something to say aren't doing that though. And if you actually read my post, I said nobody would know who Trinity is if it weren't for Jammie Parrish throwing a fit. I didn't blame him for how Trinity has responded. You can't be upset that Trinity capitalized on the situation and has everyone (including YOU) talking about them... Well you could be upset but that would make you just a hater. But that's ok too if that's your kind of thing.

I waited a whole 72 hours to say something! hahah and yes it is sad. Especially how quick people are to jump at any chance to fuel these rumors. Like for instance, I was constantly asked this summer how many jetskis were bought for the team.......... really....... thats just absurd. But at this point I just find it all ammusing, along with my team, because not many people know the truth behind it all.

Chris. Let me just say that you guys were amazing over the past weekend. I can't imagine how tough it was to get in front of that crowd KNOWING majority of those people were rooting for you to fail. I can't wait to see you guys this weekend and have your TRINITY family cheering you guys on.

Thank you so much! It was tough, there as A LOT of stress on our shoulders, however we became closer as a team and we are ready to show the world who the true Trinity is. This weekend I will finally be back on the floor with my team instead of cheering them on in a boot.

I agree with part of your post, but still disagree with some of it. I just think if it were a different gym, they would have responded differently. If these rumors (true or not) were going around about Cheer Athletics or Stingrays, I don't think they would have reacted in the same way and fueled the fire so to speak. I think Trinity should have kept mum on the topic and maybe just said "the rumors are false" from the get go, and if they would have just let the routine speak for itself instead of over-hyping and kind of getting their hands dirty with everything, they might have a little more support. I think Trinity just made a negative situation ten times more negative, and that's where my frustration with hearing/reading/ seeing it comes from. It just seems sad that these kids are in a negative situation and it's out of their control. Like they're being set up to fail. But hey, maybe they're getting a life lesson out of it that's worth more than the hype/negativity.

Awwww wish I could have met you!!! Congratulations to your team. I watched the video and I think they did great! Keep working hard. You're obviously doing something right! :D

See I agree with you completely. But, both Trinity people are wrong in that I don't think people were watching hoping they would fail. At least I wasn't. At the end of the day for me it's all about the kids and I wanted them to have a great showing at their 1st competition. Let's all remember where all our teams were back in Oct and how many mistakes our own teams were making then because that's exactly where Trinity is right now in their season. 1st time out....... JMHO

Thank you! I didn't realize there would be so much teal there this weekend, or I would have LOVED to meet up with you! Hopefully next year!!

Counting on it!! (Which brings up a very good point......I have never seen more Teal in 1 place in all my life......and not the CEA Teal, that I'm used to. LOL Seemed like every 3rd team had teal, black and white uniforms. I had no idea so many people used it.)
