So how many multiple location gyms have "world champion amazing" teams in every location?
California All Stars. SMOED, Aces, and Elite/Coed (I know these two are at the same location) are all "world champion amazing" teams from different locations. Even though Black Ops wasn't at Worlds last year, they're definitely a great team.

Understood. My point is that it's a pretty small list.
Agreed. I'm not trying to insult the rest of the Cheer Extreme gyms... I'm just saying a lot of the athletes will stay at their original gym if CEA expands to their town because what they have to offer isn't anything their original gym can't offer (like a spot on a world's winning team, or CSP).

No reason to think it was anything but that sweet. "Rumors of Courtney Pope's evil nature have been greatly exaggerated". Maybe throw in some homesickness (Picks-burgh to NC is not a seamless transition), and I can see it being just like that. Of course, I know the people involved... which is sometimes uncommon to these discussions.

I actually have nothing against Courtney. I really think she is nice and has been nothing but kind when I have been around her and spoken with her. But the circumstances leading up to the decision don't seem to be all bright and cheery. I don't disagree with Courtney making a great business decision for her, but I'm not saying people that do disagree with her decision have invalid points...If that makes sense.

I can see both sides of the argument. Smaller gyms may get the shaft because of CEA's "name" and people are drawn to a huge name. It's the beauty of marketing. She has a product and knows how to market it well but then again athletes that love their program and coaches aren't going to leave just because someone new came to town. I cheered for a smaller gym my entire career and LOVED it. I liked having to work harder to prove we were just as good. I guess all we can do until anything actually happens is speculate.

I don't mind expansions under one condition:

have something that your gym stands by, a specific coaching technique, something you're known for, and MAKE sure, all your locations have it. I can't stand when people grow to grow, but then you're like (for example)....."oh that's from their "san diego" location" when instead it should be, "oh they're from cheerforce".

So just make sure your ORGANIZATION looks like it was done for the right reasons, not just be a punk ;)

Maybe I missed something but....

Is this a *for sure* "new" gym. Or is potentially a replacement for an existing facility? We've all seen video of the Kville gym, perhaps they're wanting to go bigger?

I'm just wondering if this new location thing is really whats happening?

She hasn't said yet. It's all speculation at this point!!!
