this division is fit better for them than small coed 5. i remember how amazing they were as small senior all girl team at 09-10 & 10-11's season :)
I agree, I just didn't know they switched. I saw one of their squad members today & totally forgot to ask her about it!

Not sure- although I DO know WV has a problem because of their HS/Allstar crossover rule. I don't remember when their season ends, either.

I thought it was over already, but apparently there is a competition today that some girls I know of are competing in...

do any states not have all star cheer?
Arizona, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virgina, Wisconsin and Wyoming all have gyms.

North Dakota doesn't have any based on the internet. A couple of these states only have 1 (like Vermont) or they have a couple small gyms, or cheer isn't very big. Whereas other states (East coast/Texas/California) have gyms everywhere.... So they may not travel much, since cheer isn't as big.
Speaking as someone in MO, a lot of people I know are SHOCKED when we go out of state because they don't really understand the whole "we WANT competition, we don't want to get first by default" concept. So that may be the case in other states where cheer isn't as big

i know ND had Magic City Allstars as recently as last season.
Magic City Allstars - About | Facebook there's nothing recent there, though. but it's the only program i know of.

There was a thread about it on here Cheer - Looking For An Allstar Team In North Dakota | Fierce Board - We Talk Cheerleading and it was said that they don't know if they're still open? And they seem to be nonexistent on the internet so I assumed that meant they closed... no facebook updates and no website. But they may still be open haha

Will the schedule change?
I noticed my CP's division has 18 teams but I was under the impression that CHEERSPORT split divisions if there were more than 15 teams.
This is my CP's first trip to nationals. So I have a lot of questions.

i understand the splitting of huge divisions... but i wish they weren't allowed to split worlds' divisions. into different arenas. with different judging panels. you can't really compare their scores or rank them. it bothers me.

WV has many Allstar programs: Ohio Valley Allstars, Famous Superstars, River Cities Allstars, those are the 3 off the top of my head, I think there are a few more.... Brooke High School, is an Allstar team in itself... They are that Good!!!!:fro:

It's too late for me to do anything to get more teams. Trust me, it doesn't work to cold call a gym and say 'hey, what are you doing on March 2nd??'
But some of us mom's who want their cp's teams to go might appreciate the little push that the owners may need. Lol

Could you imagine how much of a three-ring circus this event would be if Youth Silver was attending?

That schedule hurts my eyes. Its hard to find teams. I was looking for the Jankytown Allstars, I thought there were in Junior coed 3.2 Left-handed medium division.

Funny, when we toured Villanova, the presenter said that there are students from 49 states. North Dakota was the missing one.
