If they hit without music the judges probably awarded them in their execution score.

I am really proud of Jags...I remember when a lot of those kidlets were on Bobcats and Kittens. Spirit and Colonels are pretty tough competition and they pulled it out!

If you still do the skills why does it matter if it was counted or music?

If they didn't go over the time requirement, then I don't believe it matters. If they were the best, then they should be in first. Now I know that it is a little strange, but maybe they were just having difficulties with their music?! I just think that if they had the skills, then they deserve it, but that's just my personal opinion.

Obviously I'm not the cheer expert bc I haven't a clue how the judging works lol I'm new to this whole competitive cheer thing so I'm trying to understand how it all works. I just thought music would count for something. I realize its not on the score sheet or doesn't count for a specific item but I just thought it would affect the overall score in someway, if not we'd all be out there counting out our routines with no music

This isn't including the level 6 teams -Tiger Elite is above Valley with an 89.986 and Texas Lonestar is at the bottom with an 84.796 (percentage of perfection).
Oh and LadyKatz have an 84.364
