Just saw this.. My daughter actually cheers all star at Island xtreme and although she is in the seventh grade is on the JV at Walt Whitman(humble brag). So Mike and Lou, etc.

Shocked at Wisconsin Lutheran not making finals. They usually always do

Watched some large teams online, these are my thoughts.
Dunbar: They had some falls and bobbles but besides that I didn't think they had their usual "pizzaz" like they lacked something.. maybe they were not as tight as usual?

Both teams from Hunterdon (sp?) were amazing. I think central is going to win again, the tumbling was just great and stunts as well.

Wishing varsity.com would upload more videos, ah watching from home stinks, wish I wasn't cheer at basketball game today so I could get the live feed!

Random question. Is Cathedral HS the one from Indiana!

Excuse my ignorance, but I know nothing about high school nationals at all. Does the order of finals have anything to do with rankings or is it random? I want to know places going in instead of "moving onto finals"!

they post in alphabetical order, and then draw for performance time. But I believe the "bid to finals" is given to the two highest scores in the bigger divisions, so you at least know that? But I may be wrong, I've never been. Just assuming on that one

Yes!!!

Cathedral, Pendelton Heights, and Clinton Central all from Indy made finals.

Division 1 is a beast division. Dunbar, North Hunterdon, Houston, Centenial, Bob Jones. That thing is gonna be amazing tomorrow.

Since they don't post day one scores, I think Houston was probably 1st today though. Although any of these could be.

I know top 3 from division I..
1. Centennial
2. North Hunterdon
3. Hunterdon Central
As long as Central hits tomorrow I'm calling them as first.

They announce them after in a random order but when they post the list online it's alphabetical!

So sad about Sun Prairie getting 3rd Still love them though. Varsity is totally slacking on uploading videos though!

Kentwood HS i heard was on POINT! They hit perfectly, but still ended up in 2nd. Let me remind you that most kids on that team are on South Elite as well so I really want to see this routine!

OMG. Rocky Point, Live Oak and North Laurel didn't make finals. I'm shocked....

I hate that Varsity TV cuts out part of the music section in every routine but seems to show the entire crowdleading part. Maybe it's my addiction to all-star- I am now spoiled for school cheer.
