I want to make sure I am understanding correctly....
WWS or ParkHopper passes will allow admission into the event on Saturday and Sunday but you won't be able to tell if they have shut the doors due to max capacity until you are in there?

Correct. Sat. and Sun. only requires admission to the WWS complex. There are no "sessions" like there will be on Monday (at least at this point, although it's possible they could change this). Therefore, you will not know if the Field House has reached maximum capacity unless you get the information from someone already inside or you go inside yourself.

Also, what would you suggested as sufficient time to be arrive to wait in line for Lg Sr/Lg Coed awards?

I believe this is going to be a problem again this year. These two divisions are extremely popular and since it will not require a seperate "session" ticket for entrance, once the Field House reaches maximum capacity they will most likely keep anyone else from entering as they have done in years past. This means, if you're not in there early enough prior to the start of Lg. Senior and Lg. Senior Coed, you most likely will not get in. It's possible that some may leave after the finals and not wait for awards, which MAY mean you could get in for awards, but there are no guarantees.

I think one thing that could be done is to relocate the judges. Hundreds of seats to unused and sit open all day because they are completely blocked by the judges table. Perhaps moving them back, up to the top of the seats in the back of the area or even to ground level would allow a couple more hundred people to see.

It wouldn't help tons but it's a start.

I went to UCA high school nationals this past weekend and that is how they had it set up. The seats actually fold up into the wall and then the judges stand was where the seats would usually be. It was amazing how many seats opened up and how much larger the milkhouse felt by just moving the the judges.

Personally, I think that there must be a better option then to empty out the Field House between monday sessions. Does anyone else think that they will try and think of an easier approach to this ?

No one sits in that back section anyway except for like maybe the top 2 rows. It's mostly blocked by the judges table. I think moving them back and opening up floor seating it would help a lot.

remember when you used to be able to sit on the green? I miss those days
They actually were the slackest that had been on green seating since like 08 this year! During international teams when I was tired of being cramped up and my legs were hurting I was able to go down and sit on the green and stretch my legs out. Only like, 3 feet from the mat. When it was super busy they would say something but during the down times they didn't seem to care. It was pretty odd to me but I'm not complaining. haha

Just so I know I'm clear....I'm taking my daughter Sunday to watch. We are buying our park hoppers through USASF because they are cheaper than buying them through Disney. We are not staying at either resort...can someone answer a few questions based on past experience?

1. Is there someone at the two resorts to pick up tickets every day, or just Thurs/Fri? We aren't getting to Disney till Saturday.
2. What time would you advise us to get to there Sunday if we want to make sure to see the performances for large coed and large senior?

Thank you for your help-this is our first time to Worlds and our first Disney trip as a family....I can't wait share the experience with my daughter!

I'm not aware that they have posted actual competition times for any divisions, but you need to plan on getting in line before the Milkhouse opens, claiming your seat, and staying there until the divisions are finished.

If it was me and I wanted a seat (which I would)? Probably when Milk House opened if not before. I would plan on being there all day and watching semis. I don't think you will get in if you just try to show up for Large Coed and Senior.

Finals for large coed and large senior might not be terrible since semi finals will still be going on for other divisions. The only teams not competing that day are the small senior/small coed teams that didn't make it out of prelims.

I had thought all semis would be finished by the time finals began...but if not then maybe it will not be that bad.

Not this year, large senior and large coed will be on Sunday, everyone else is on Monday.

my question is....with each day having a few sessions and them charging for Each one -how are they going to do that? Empty it out and then let you back in??? Last year you could stay the whole day for one price...........

Yes, last year I did not go but the mom who took my daughter said that they closed the doors soon after they got in on Sunday.............due to it being full.

I know. I meant all the semis being held on Sunday for small and medium would be finished before they started the finals for Large - so would people who were just there as spectators for the semis actually leave? I'd think they'd just stay put for finals.
