What I don't quite get is how they score the pyramid, which they obviously didn't have time to fix, since half of the pyramid just had a whole. I was surprised that they could stay in 2nd place.

All that said, props to them for going out and making the best of a difficult situation.

i don't have an answer to your question, but i noticed that TGLC's scores didn't change all that much either. and their boy dislocated his shoulder in the opening so the center stunt did not go up or half of the pyramid. i know they can't get stunt fall deductions if it never even went up... but it has to effect the overall impression or something?

I'll never understand CHEERSPORT.

you can count me in

i thought cheersport is going to be like role model or good example of competition for others. i guess i was completely wrong. extra bids, multiple changes in scores, accident like falling of vendor signs, etc.. :confused:

So proud of our small gym Integrity Cheer Corps. We came to Atlanta for the 1st time with 35 kids and 3 teams. We left with 2 At large Summit bids and 2 Cheersport National Champions!! Congratulations to our amazing athletes and coaches.

Congratulations to all the hard work your athletes, coaches, and parents put into their routines. GREAT work!

With just 35 kids representing 3 teams though I sure hope they all competed in skill appropriate divisions. It wouldn't be quite as exciting if a team won a level 3 division with half of the team having level 5 skills.

Our kids were the essence of sporstmanship. They chose to give their jackets away through deductions. If you added them back in, they won by over half a point. As it was....the finished 7th. Le sigh.

Where were the WC Suns? Little surprising they were'nt there considering the other L5 teams from WC were there and this being one pf the big tourneys. This seemed. To be a tournament where they wouldve done well and could've gotten a paid bid
