this is so bizarre... i feel bad for anyone who wastes their money on buying fake accounts to follow them. someday these kids will realize they should have used their money wiser... maybe like saving for college.

also wouldnt it be obvious that the account is fake? like if my friend got 1000 new followers in two days all that had no tweets i might be a bit suspicious

What makes me sad is, some girl left an anonymous comment asking about how she's so famous and followed by xyz person who really has no bearing on life, and the anon talks about how 'successful' she is. Is this what defines success? Looks? Fame? This sort of thing hurts my soul.

On the subject of cheerleading, why did Cheer Athletics pick cats for their mascot?

There was a Cheer Athletics question thread that BlueCat had and someone asked this and I think the answer was because it worked with a logo idea and they could make lots of team names that were cat themed? But I don't know for sure that's just what I remember!

Just to butt in here but we do this in our pyramid! I think it looks really good and it's an interesting move to do at level 2.

How do you incorporate it into your pyramid? Dismount? Or just a transition? I like that move and would love it add it to our routine next year. Thanks!

I used to follow Elena Brooke a while ago before she was "tumblr famous" she posted A LOT of selfies, and pictures of her on the beach and stuff and that's mainly all her blog is. So I unfollowed her then she got a lot of followers over time, I think just because she's blonde, pretty, cute clothes, cheerleader, idk. I knew she cheered but I didn't think that was what she was known for. She always posted videos of her doing backhand springs on the tumble track so I figured she was on a level 1 or 2. She got annoying real quick tbh. I don't know why everyone got pictures with her, she's a normal girl with a very abnormal amount of social networking followers. Go look at her instagram or twitter. I think it's like Elenabrookexoxo or Elena Brooke

Could someone list the Cali team names and their divisions? Like Sparkles & Aces. I'd like to know what teams people are talking about

I have no idea. I haven't heard of her until this thread and then I did some twitter investigation this morning hahah

okay, i had no idea who this girl was and i just twitter investigated, as well. i will say if cheerlebrities havveee to be a thing (i wish they weren't) i'd be totally fine with kids looking up to an older, lower level athlete. not every kid is going to be level 5 and why can't that awesome dancer/stunter/whoever on level 2 get noticed if other kids are being noticed too?

however, if little kids are looking up to you, you should probably not look like you're going out to a club while wearing your uniform and have things hanging out. you should also not pose/post pictures giving the middle finger in said uniform. i looked on the "famous" tumblr... every picture is of her half naked, or random people making out and whatnot. awesome role model.

YES! It bugs me so much when I see this. If your uniform says "World Class" on it I'm pretty sure a picture of you giving the middle finger in your uniform isn't very classy...

In line with what BlueCat was saying about his gym requesting athletes sign off with them before posting in uniform, I imagine it wasn't for things like the cheerlebrity comps or magazine stuff. I figured it was things like, doing stupid stuff in uniform and letting pics of it get posted online..

We were all stupid kids once (when I say 'we', I mean everyone but me. I was too nerdy for this kinda thing :D), but dear goodness, KEEP IT OFFLINE.
