I was wondering if any of you could answer a few of my questions....

what cheer shoes are available to buy? Apart from the well know Varsity's and Nfinity's.

What do you think about other cheer shoes?

i've used both nike and nfinity..both worked well but both served different purposes. i liked nikes better for "game day" cheerleading. the soles are more heavy duty which was nice since we were on football fields and things like that. i loved nfinitys for competing. they're so light and comfortable, but is the reason why they're not great for game day. my nfinitys i used on the field got ruined pretty quickly. overall, i'd suggest spending the extra money and go with nfinitys.

what about the No Limits cheer shoe? what does everyone feel about them?
I am personally an Nfinity girl, but looking to see which trainers other than nfinity people in the UK would be interested in buying

They're comfortable once they're broken in, but that takes forever. Order a half a size to a size up. They do hold up really well.

Chasse makes a shoe called "Ace" that looks almost exactly like the Nfinity Evolution. I've thought about trying it for Babydonna for practice, but haven't yet. I think it runs for something like $28.

some girls on my school team bought the Chasse Ace, and said they love it. I haven't done any more than hold it, but it does look at feel similar to the Evolution.

I've been through about every brand of cheer shoe known to mankind...so here's my cheer shoe encyclopedia..
Kaepas- I've only ever used the ones with the blue grips on the bottoms (circa '02?..do they still make those?), and they were great from what I remember. Held up pretty well too.
Nikes- Used these for school cheer..hurt my feet a ton. Nike cheer flash were very narrow and SO heavy. I guess they were good for sideline cheer though because they definitely held up well and were very easy to clean being they're basically made of plastic..
Reebok- I got a severe foot injury and my doctor recommended the high tops for me, and they were pretty comfy for practice but I couldn't imagine them holding up for competitions through an entire season. Were cheap and only about $40 though.
No Limits- We had their nicer shoe with more leather, and they were awful. I ordered a size big because the person fitting us said they ran small, but by the third time I had worn them, they were stretched out past a point of no return and were literally 2 sizes too big. I recommend that if these are required by your gym, get a half size or whole size down because they stretch out sooo much. Oh and my teammates had holes in their bottoms and their toes were peeping out of the top of the shoe by the third month having them...company was nice and replaced them though.
Varsity- First time wearing them, and they're ok. We got the last pass shoe this season. It has taken a very long time to break them in. Practicing in them about 20 times wasn't enough so I wore them around my house a couple times...and they're still not broken in, so I only wear them to comps because I'm required. They hurt my feet because the sole just won't get soft. My feet don't sweat as much though lol.
Nfinity- lord praise nfinity. There's only one shoe I've not liked by them called the "Tyger"...and I've owned almost all their shoes since 2003. The only reason I didn't like that shoe was because it was super bulky and almost as heavy as Nikes...but their shoes literally form to your foot after you wear them a bunch and they get so comfortable. So yeah.

I have only every worn nfinity shoes the evolution and the phoenix. I really love the classic evolutions - but they dont hold up. I really DID NOT love the phoenix. I read somewhere that they have been discontinued however if they have not I don't suggest them. I was told they were gonna stretch by the sales clerk - so i purchased them a half size small - needless to say they didnt stretch and now i jam my toes every time i tumble and jump flip. They also dont have much ankle support, so old injuries are now re-occouring ones. One bright thing - the phoenix seemed to have held up better than the evolutions.

I used the Nike Cheer Flash last year! I actually didn't think they were too narrow at all, and I hate narrow shoes. They are on the heavier side for shoes but I didn't think they were too bad. I thought they were really good for tumbling on the basketball court (I really only do standing tucks & running back hand series at basketball games). My feet never hurt after a game lol. I've used Nike cheer shoes for the longest time, I love them. And they are very easy to clean! The Mr. Clean magic eraser wonders. I liked them for competitions too. My favorite Nike shoes were the Nike Cheer Musique but they don't make them anymore, or at least I can't find them in my size anywhere.

I have had multiple brands, but my hands down favorite are Kaepas. LORD I love them. They are perfect for flyers to wear because the sole doesnt over-flex. When my flyer in high school wore them it felt as though there was a flat slat-type piece on the bottom that was so easy to grip, I just loved them. My Nfinity's were also my favorite, but less realistic as they wear out so easily. I HIGHLY recommend Kaepas.

I must correct myself..when I said kaepa's, I was actually talking about Power shoes lol...but kaepas were a good shoe too
