Am I the only person that wishes CEA SE would hold stunts longer instead of transitioning into another body position? I mean they don't even hold the first body positions, it is more of show and go's.

Yikes rough day for coed..2 standing fulls? Or did I miss something? With all the guys doing standing tumbling at different times look so messy. Baskets off. Jumps blurgh. And sorry I still hate Holden giving it Erica in the pyro.
they've had just holden's standing full for the whole season basically.. i mentioned that a few months ago.. i refuse to believe that out of all those crazy tumblers, theres TWO standing fulls

I like SE a lot better now, it looks cleaner . There was just wayyy to much going on before.
I still don't like them dancing though, it just lacks something, i don't know if its their energy or their moves, i just don't feel it

while my brain certainly likes the SE changes, as I can actually process what's happening, it doesn't seem like "them" anymore. I know, I'm never satisfied:p Do we know that the full around tic tocs are really out? or were they just taken out for the weekend while the girls are exhibitioning? by taking it out, I think it relieved a lot of pressure from the girls and allows them to hit a clean routine going into NCA and would be a definite confidence booster.

well, I guess I'll find out in 6 days!

Maybe their holding back then come NCA bam whole team standing fulls. Well thats really the only conclusion I can get from this.
You don't need standing fulls, as SE clearly demonstrated last year. As long as you have other, level appropriate and difficult standing tumbling (and your other routine bits are up to par/exceptional, which I'd say CE has), you'd be fine.

Definitely not the only one. Some flyers haven't even completely pulled a scale before they're bumping down. Not the best visual ever.

You know I love me some Senior Elite but I still can't get into Coed Elite and never have been able too even years ago. I think the only routine I liked of their's was when they danced to I think Chris Brown years ago. Holden is over the top for me and I don't like it.

I'd say they pull it completely. It's not pull and hold for two counts and go, it's pull hit, down. However, I think most, if not all teams in large senior do this. I remember making the same comment about F5..I've only watched WC once, so I can't remember if they do it too, but I'd bet a dollar at least one part of a sequence they do it too. There's just no TIME..

Difference of opinion I guess. I've watched more than one video where either flyers have completed that scale...that or else it's just bad flexibility..which I highly doubt.

I'm sure it's happened before- particularly when they had the full-around, because if it wasn't stable you had to bump down fast anyway so you could hide it. Now, without it, it's a much more solid quick hit and down.

It was during F5's second tick tock section- I remember now posting about how it was like they barely hit anything. Complete side note nothing to do with either team: can it be a new rule that if your arabesque leg doesn't reach horizontal with a straight leg and pointed toe it's a missed body position? I'm seeing SO many ugly ugly ones this year, it's like the cop-out body position of the lazy.

Will agree with you there...arabesque is probably my least favorite body position and if it's poorly executed its even worse
