Staff is staying off site right down the street. However we have teams there from 11- the end both days so I will be there ALL day

I'm actually flying in later tonight! I couldn't get out of ANOTHER day of work. We're staying at Sports, and we happen to be right on the football field! :)

I leave tomorrow! :) I'm excited but I have no idea how this competition is run and I have a feeling it will be kind of be like mass chaos...have to hope for the best! I never even been to Disney before...anyone feel like giving me any tips? They would be greatly appreciated.

That is the best place to be! I always loved being right in the middle of the action. So fun having all the teams practicing all over the place, too. I am assuming you must already have staff there and that is how you know your room location?

All of the following info is time permitting and kind of depends on the ages in your group. I haven't been to UCA in almost 15 years but it can be hectic since there are multiple venues. Magic Kingdom is the main place you think of when you hear Disney World. Cinderella's castle, space mountain, the spinning teacups, all that stuff is at MK. I'd definitely recommend trying to see the parade on Main Street if possible. Epcot is the giant golf ball looking place and has tons of great restaurants (and places for the adults to grab a drink or five ;) ). Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM) has a few rides, mostly movie themed stuff, and is where the Indiana Jones theater is. If you're there at night definitely see Fantasmic. Primetime Cafe is at HS and a really fun place to eat if you've got a group willing to laugh at itself. Waitresses call you silly names, yell at you to eat your vegetables, all that jazz. Animal Kingdom is fun if you like zoo attractions and they have one big roller coaster there. Also, the Atlanta Braves have spring training at the Wide World of Sports complex. If they have a home game this weekend it could be a great way to get easy autographs and entertain husbands/brothers who may not want to watch cheer for hours. Take advantage of any extra magic hours you can if you're staying on property. Look at AllEars.Net - The Unofficial Disney Vacation Planning Guide - Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line for any info you could ever need about Disney World. Good luck and have fun this weekend!

who all is practicing on the football field on friday and what times?

We are practicing in the afternoon on Friday... We are starting at 1pm, but we are not level 5 so I doubt any one will want to watch. Haha.
But like I said, my kids have bows to trade so please come find us. We are also a super small gym and group, so if anyone needs someone to cheer on, please pick us! Haha. We are Cheer Zone from Mt Washington, KY. They'll be wearing white t-shirts with teal mickey on the back with a shark. I look exactly like my picture, so come find me too! Seriously, I'll probably be wearing sunglasses just like that too...
