How are you getting to Natick? I'm assuming you'll take a bus or train to Boston, but there's not a ton of public transportation as far as I know.

I'd offer to let you crash at my house (which isn't really that close to Natick at all) but that would be awkward to explain to the boy.

I have to take a regional rail to the Natick station and then there's a shuttle to the hotel from there.

I found a place, the only problem is that the person I'm staying with has all sorts of plans for the night before, and so now I have to adjust my ticket which is another chunk of change, plus get there wicked early with nothing to do but bum around her apt.

Yeah, it's going to be a bit of an adventure..considering I'll be figuring most of this out at 6/7am that morning lol.

I have successfully adapted to the metro/bus systems in 6 countries and several US cities. I can NOT do Boston's. It's like a giant octopus of confusion and sadness..

I don't think it's that bad. There's only 5 subway lines and the commuter rail isn't that different than the commuter trains for NYC. Except the green line, the green line is terrible.

If you want to PM me, I can tell you exactly which lines and stops to take.

We're in the same boat. We expected to get our bid in mid-February at the comp we got it at the past two years. But then there was a massive snowstorm and it got rescheduled to next weekend. It sucks cause you kind of have to plan on going, but can't actually book a flight or make any real plans.

Flights went up about 2-300 from the week before our first bid comp to now, and there's still another week for those to go up before we'll know if we have a bid. It sucks.

That was what I did the time I got 100+..granted it was NCA weekend and I was home, and every time someone responded to a post I got a notification alerting me to each individual's reply. Sheer madness. I was like 'Is this what King feels like?'

I had a dream once where I had 72. In my dream I woke up, picked up my phone and checked fierceboard like I do every morning. So then when I actually woke up and only had like seven it was a bit disappointing.
