My kids love the Nfinity Evolutions. The Vengeance just don't hold up. As a parent my biggest complaint with Nfinity is lack of inventory and price. We visited their store at NCA and were actually told by the people working it to not buy the shoes from them because they were seriously back logged! If you have a business with little to no inventory you have no business.
My cp loves her vengeance. However, just like everyone else seems to be saying, they only lasted a few months before they started to tear on top. It seems the harder she tumbles the faster they fall apart. May look into those aces for a backup, especially for when school cheer starts again. Don't this my cp would agree to wearing anything other than nfinity for all star though. Maybe mental for her and her tumbling. Don't even want to go there, she's progressing so well.

My daughter loves her Nfinities. She is probably on her 14th or 15th pair. She likes them because they are light and don't weigh her down when she tumbles and aren't bulky in her bases hands. They fit snug to the foot so they don't slip around when her bases grip her foot. I think it depends a lot on the type of athlete. At beginning levels those things aren't as critical, but when you are doing elite tumbling and stunts its pretty important. Like any sport, quality equipment comes at a price. Quality baseball, football, basketball and track shoes are high too.

My cp loves her Nfinity Vengeance! She has worn Genesis, Evolutions, Phoenix, Passions.. All of them! Has worn them for 7 years plus now. She is a veteran level 5 athlete, tumbler and would not wear anything else.. Ever! I buy 2 a season. Always have. It's just like with my sons baseball or football cleats that I pay $80 for, they last a couple of months for that season and the next yr, he is ready for a new pair. They aren't supposed to last all yr.. And if they do, lucky you! I think you have to look at the your athlete, what they are comfortable in and what is best for her position on the mat. There is not another shoe out there that can perform like Nfinity. You get what you pay for.
IMO ;)

I can't honestly see someone with Nfinity telling you not to buy their shoes, they probably said that inventory is low and to buy from a distributor to get them quicker. I'm hearing that inventory is great now! :)

I was very shocked when the young lady told my wife exactly that. We'll find out how there inventory is soon enough since my youngest needs a new pair.

I bought my most recent pair of Nfinity thru a distributor and they arrived within 4-5 days. I was really surprised how quickly they showed up.

Meanwhile, at BATC, there wasn't even anyone manning the table when we were there. We hung around for maybe 15 minutes, tried on 4 pr of shoes, and nobody ever showed up to help us.

I know that as a base my cp hates anything other than Nfinity on her flyer. She appreciates being able to grip her fliers foot and any other shoe leaves her feeling like she's holding a brick. We discussed it and it's Nfinity's only for her. Honestly with the thousands of dollars we spend on this sport another 80-90$ is not going to make a difference. A private costs $65 and that's only one hour so an extra 80 for second half of season... not too bad a deal.:D

No Limit is coming out with a new shoe. It might be better to wait and see since the season is almost over anyway. N

Sorry I'm just now jumping on here to reply. Many of you know that I work for Nfinity. You know where my loyalties lie and I do not try to hide it. I will try and address all of the main questions that you have discussed on the thread and if you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to ask.

What cheer shoes can I buy that will last all season?

The answer to this question is, it depends. There are numerous people who have had Evolutions last for 2 or more years and many people that have had their Vengeance last an entire season. I believe one of them posted on this thread. Just because you buy a style or brand of shoe does not mean that it will last an entire year. Every cheerleader is different. Every person tumbles, runs, jumps and even dances differently and all of these factors both together and individually will effect the life of any shoe. You need to stick with a shoe that is comfortable to your foot and that enhances your abilities as a cheerleader, not choose a shoe because you want it to endure a season. We could make shoes that will last for 20 years but they will be cumbersome, unattractive and would negatively affect your cheerleaders performance. We make shoes for every type of athlete that have been proven to perform across every level in cheerleading. I will never "sell" you an Nfinity shoe, but I will allow you to choose the best product for your athlete.

Why do my shoes not last a whole season?

If this is your question there are many other things you need to consider. Your running shoes should be replaced between 2-4 times a year depending on your body type, your style of running and the surface that you wear your shoes on. Why should your cheer shoes be any different? Your body type, tumbling and jumping style all effect the wear on a shoe and every person's body type is unique. When I see cheerleaders wearing their shoes outside, around the convention center, to the mall or in the parking lot it drives me crazy. Do you wear your football cleats to the grocery store, or your ballet shoes to the gas station? Of course not! So why would you wear your cheer shoes everywhere and expect them to perform the same and last longer than any other high performance shoe?

People often look over the fact that the cheer "season" has gotten longer every year. As soon as Worlds is over, and in some cases even before, gyms have already conducted their tryouts for the next year. Unlike any other sport there is no true offseason in cheerleading. HS football, baseball and basketball last between 3-4 months and 9 times out of 10 those athletes replace their shoes each time a new season comes around. Even basketball players that play school and AAU ball replace their shoes 2-3 times per year.

Should I buy a high top shoe to stop ankle injuries?

You can try, and in some cases (tiny children) it may help, but 95% of the time it's not the little ones that are rolling their ankles. Velcro and a thin piece of material will not stop you from rolling your ankle. When you are running, flipping and twisting you have two things working against you, gravity and physics. When you go up high and come down wrong they will both work against you and no shoe will prevent that. There is no replacement for a good tape job and ankle braces.

Are there other options out there besides Nfinity shoes?

Absolutely! There are tons of brands that make cheer shoes. Every shoe is different. That is why we make 3 styles of shoes. We try to accommodate every style and type of cheerleader without causing confusion. Never buy a shoe on a gimmick! We didn't create the Vengeance because we needed to have the lightest shoe on the market. We created it because people love to tumble and cheer barefoot or in socks because it is more comfortable and natural to them and the Vengeance is as close as you can get. It just so happened to be the lightest shoe. Will it make you jump higher? Maybe a little, not enough to notice. Will it reduce fatigue? A little because it is so light, but not considerably. We create shoes to perform at the highest level for all athletes. Nfinity hasn't been around the longest, not by a long shot, but there is a reason that every team that won Worlds last year was wearing Nfinity shoes and more teams have won Worlds in Nfinity shoes than all other brands of shoes combined. They could choose to wear another brand of shoe, but they choose Nfinity. These gyms and parents trust our shoes for their children and athletes and we do our best to deliver.

Why would you tell me to buy my shoes from someone else?

Tricky question, LOL! I have told people a few times this season to buy their shoes from our distributors because I knew that they would get their shoes from them faster and at the same price. We have had inventory issues this season and we always try to point our customers in the right direction to get their shoes as fast as possible. When Varsity stopped carrying our shoes we lost our largest customer virtually overnight. We worked all summer to bridge that gap and never in our wildest imagination did we expect that we would in fact sell more shoes without them than we did with them. Our customers searched for and found us in order to purchase the shoes that they wanted. When we switched factories they were ready to send shoes right away, but they had trouble with the quality of the shoe. Rather than send them out, we fixed the issue and that pushed us back a little as well. So when we didn't have shoes and our distributors did I pushed all of our customers to order where they could get their shoes fast and with exceptional customer service.

I hope I have answered all of your questions. I would go back and look, but I left my computer at the office and am writing from my cell phone. I couldn't imagine going back to look and losing this reply!! LOL. If there are other questions or anything at all that any of you need I would be happy to help any of you. I've done this once before and been called crazy a few times, but here is my information:

Thank you Ryan! Great information, and outstanding customer service.

So true about wear on shoes. I actually feel lucky that my kid's shoes lasted a season and a half. She's very protective of them, never, ever wears them outside. But when you're training in a shoe for 15 hours per week... Yeah, that's a lot of mileage. Not at all surprised that the soles started to wear through with all the tumbling, dance, and baseing!

She was thrilled when her new "babies" arrived in the mail. So much so that she Instagrammed them! It's awesome that your brand has garnered so much loyalty. Your distributors are also doing a great job representing your brand.

I have worn my Vengeance shoes to coach and practice in, all and all about 20 hours a week and they have zero holes rips or tears, they just have aweful sweat stains on them. I have heard tons of people complain about ripping or holes, but mine are amazing!

Before I owned these I was in some sort of Nike cheer shoe which was heavy as sin, and I felt like I was wearing cement blocks on my feet during tumbling and jumping.. And when dinosaurs roamed the earth in Jr High and Sr High cheer I wore an extremely old model Power cheer shoe. Cant remember how they were tho. Not amazing, but not poor.

I really wanted to like the Nfinity shoes. CP liked how light they were and we really loved the cool case they came in. We had both heard others rave about what great shoes they were. I always buy two pairs of shoes for comp season. One pair for competitions (we want them to look nice) and one pair for practice. They are NEVER worn outside EVER. The Nfinity's that we had for completions did not made it past the fourth comp. Sorry, but that is not a decent lifespan for a shoe that is only worn inside on a specialty surface for approximately eight days of wear. The sole separated from the rest of the shoe which was a contributing factor to an injury. The pair we had for practice actually held up better than the pair set aside only for comp.. Perhaps the Nfinity rep could enlighten me as to why the shoe that was supposed to be the creme de la creme of cheer shoes lost its sole after only being worn for four competitions and only worn at the competition?? Never worn outside not even on forays through the venue hall. We always carry a pair of street shoes (boots usually because of the winter bad weather) and she likes to change into those as soon as she is done performing. Did we just get a lemon pair??

From what you are telling me the pair that was purchased was defective. I'm not sure when you purchased your shoes or where you purchased them from, but we are very good about replacing defective pairs of shoes and I have posted a few times on the board about it. Have you tried to contact us or the company that you purchased them from before about this?

Our shoes are made by hand and occasionally a pair can get through the line with a defect. We are very understanding about this and our customer service is second to none in recognizing and replacing defective products. We stand behind our products 100% and would be happy to work in assisting you. My information is in the post above if you would like to send me an email.

Thanks so much Ryan for coming on and being honest and frank with us. As parents, we spend so much on this sport and want to make sure we are getting the "bang for our buck". :) Customer service is key!
