UCA has grown by about 200 teams in the last couple of years.

I don't think there is anything "official" I think not was something fun King asked a few years back. To my knowledge ACE, Rays are the only lvl 5's to do it. I remember some other lvl Rays teams and Brandon J4 did it in '10. I'm sure others have done it but it was all in fun. I don't think there is an official "Cheer triple crown" but it would be fun if there was.

I stand corrected

I personally find winning Cheersport, NCA, UCA very impressive because of how close together they are. 3 jackets basically within a month is pretty darn impressive, but thats just me lol.

ACE Warriors won Cheersport, NCA, and UCA in the same year (2011). Plus, they won Worlds 2011 also (Large Senior Semi-Limited Coed). What an amazing team

You know I thought so too and there was a very large decline in recent years, yet the past two seasons it has been a very big competition. =) Maybe its building back up!

The number of participants dictate worlds bids, and if we go off of that, NCA and Cheersport are the biggest with 8 paid bids, UCA follows with 5 paid, and Jamfest has 3. But there are about 4 or 5 other events that have 3 paid bids as well.

Of course, I don't think an EP has to give out as many bids as they're eligible, so that might not be the best indicator.

at UCA every level 5 team got a bid and they still had 5 extra at large bids..

That's a different situation. They gave out all the bids they had and there were no more teams to give them out. I meant that if an EP is eligible (by the number of teams that participated last year) to give out 3 Paid bids, they can opt instead to only give out 2, for example. But they do have to give out 3 at large bids for each paid bid they have to the best of their ability - and obviously you can't make additional level 5 teams appear.

Proud mom here to a 3x Triple Crown athlete . Downplay it all you want but it won't change how proud these athletes are of their accomplishment. You can bet it will go on her college applications. Many have said the Majors isn't worth celebrating either.......but ask any winner and I bet they are proud.

You also have to take into account that it is later in the season and I believe around 28 teams competed at UCA already had bids.

Oh I know, but that has no bearing on be number of bids they're eligible to give out.

the original ga coed 4 won all 3 ... their first year back i believe
