You are correct.....we will not be attending.......that team's last competition was Battle at the Capital in DC a few weeks ago. No way we want to stay a week and compete back to back. LOL (Thank you Jesus) ;)

The list has been updated. Thanks for the heads up UAFan22 and mstealtoyou !

Thanks for updating the list! Do you know if the Summit will combine divisions if there are not enough teams competing? (For example, if there are only 3 junior 5 co-ed teams - 1 large and 2 small - will the two divisions be combined? Would they also consider combining junior 5 all girl and junior 5 co-ed?) Obviously the decision to combine divisions would happen much closer to the actual event, if it were to happen.

I really hope this turns out to be an amazing competition!!! With just getting back from Orlando and then having to go back 6 weeks later... FROM CALI... is tough and super expensive. My one daughter (Sr. 5 Restricted Coed - Cheerforce Chaos) has the paid bid and of course we are going... And my other daughter (Sm J4- Cheerforce Fury) has one last chance this weekend to get a paid bid. Our fingers are crossed for a spectacular 2 day performance. I will be sad to take one and not both.

Looking at the bids, I sure hope more teams show up! Top 10% in the country get invited.. but it's a whole different story when it comes to who can afford to show up. So I guess we'll see! I'm super excited though to be able to particpate in the first Summit competition.

Right now it looks like less than 200 teams have accepted bids. Interesting to see if that number grows, considering that Varsity allocated well over 400+ paid and at-large bids for this comp.

A team from here in Idaho just got a paid bid from pac west in Portland. Small senior 3 coed.. They would be small gym. First one from Idaho!

I was wondering where they were from! It was really exciting to see some different names than the usual NW "powerhouses" taking home some bids from PacWest this weekend :)

Our small J2 accepted their bid well over a month ago and we are still not on the list. Our small S co-ed 3 is on the list and only accepted their bid within the last 2 weeks AND our name is spelled wrong

I am thinking that we aren't the only ones who aren't listed or not listed correctly....I think as teams start registering and paying we will see a big difference in the list.

We have two teams going and aren't up there yet. I have the same feeling as most that they aren't putting any names on the list until they get thier deposit and possibly rooming list.

Both of my CP's teams received bids. My oldest won NCA Small Sr 4 Small Gym and my youngest came in 2nd at NCA in the Small Jr 4 Small Gym but we declined both bids since we had already accepted bids to go to The One in New Orleans. I am hoping to go next year.
