I will tell you that I know my division sr coed 4 is going to be stacked with talent, it will be similar to the med coed division at worlds. We got our full paid this weekend, and these bids are so hard to get. You most deff have to be in first or grand champs for a paid bid. I think Im really looking fwd to this comp.

Do we know that the Summit is only going to be at ESPN, or are they also going to have to used Hollywood Studios? I know Worlds is very crowded and people always say there are too many teams for the venue to accommodate. If all the bids were to be handed out and accepted there would be at least 150 MORE teams at the Summit. I assume day 2 will not be a problem because only the top 5 in each division move on, but where is everyone going to fit day 1?

Sorry if I missed it, but who won the bids given out at BATB?

Where are you seeing this information? Just curious cause I hadn't heard how the comp was going to be run or what percentage each day was worth and I can't find it on the website.

What does happen to all those paid bids that get turned down? Does the summit go back and award them to the teams that got At Larges? Some time only have 1-2 teams in the division... Thats crazy to travel that far to compete against 1 other team. Yes its a paid bid but really you still need to pay for flights for you and your CP and food and passes/hotel for you. I think the idea is great it just may need a little more work back at the drawing board. Plus they should save the rings for the Worlds athletes, thats the point of working so hard at that level to show off what you have, every younger athletes wants to be on a worlds team but if you can accomplish the same feeling on a lower level does it take away the feeling???? hmm But these are JUST MY THOUGHTs

I swear I thought I was told that only the top five teams make it to finals in each division and the scores are not carried over from day 1 to day 2. I can't seem to find where I read that, so maybe I was misinformed.

Here is some information to clear up the confusion-

The Indiana Jones venue in Disney's Hollywood Studios will NOT be used. Everything will take place within the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Only the top five teams from each division will advance to Day 2. Scores will NOT carry over, it is a clean slate.

If there are less than 5 teams in a division, everyone in the division will compete on Day 2.

If a team declines a bid, it will be passed down to the next highest percentage of perfection score. Depending on the brand, it may go to next highest % of perfection in the level, or the overall competition.

Hope this helps! I'll do my best to answer any more questions posted on here.

Thank you for all that!! I do have another question though....what will happen to the divisions where there is only 1 team in them?

How far down will an At-Large bid be passed down? As far as need be? Do you think this takes away any of the "prestige" or is the thought, they'll probably not make it to Day 2, so if they want to give us money to come, then great?

And I don't mean that in a bad way. If I were running a business, that would be my mindset. Just curious.
