I don't think he meant any 'bitterness'. The changes weren't that noticeable unless you are a fully certified ice queen stalker like myself :). Can't wait to see all Canadian teams own the floor this season!
It's not just that comment, I've followed their activity when it comes to the queens. It is clear how they feel.

ECE j5 One-Up Day 2

I can't even put into words how much I love this team.
They serve me so much I just need to take a quick break from watching in the middle of the routine. I just can't.
Home girl throwing that kick double.

She betta werk!

Literally I just can't. With how I feel right now, I think that if I had seen this routine in person this weekend, I may have just died.

Two comments In reference to the J5 video. For one, this team is as good as shooting stars... WTH?! And for two, what if J5 became the ONLY division people cared about? I would feel so old and useless (I'm 17) but anyway I'm gonna go die now because that routine just killed it. No seriously, they're like worlds level 5 large senior all girl day two status... The future of allstar ladies and gentlemen

Very bitter when it comes to them arent ya? I think you should appreciate the improvement they've made from last year. They are currently Canada's best team and I personally can't wait to see how amazing they do at Worlds! IQTL <3

Pardon me? If you knew me, followed me on Twitter, or have ever talked to me in real life about the IOAG 5 division you'll know I absolutely love Ice Queens, they have my favourite routine in the division (which I HAVE stated on this board before). It's clear where my biases lie in terms of who I'd like to win, but I can appreciate a good team when I see them, whether they are competition to who I'd like to win or not. I didn't see any changes in the routine, and asked where they were, that simple. Stop trying to start drama where there is none.
Do I think they're Canada's best team? No, but that's because I see Great Whites on a weekly basis and most people don't, but I can appreciate their incredible amount of talent and great routine and see them putting up a good fight in the IOAG division at Worlds.

I think its Becca with the knee brace who is limping. Props for pulling through the routine.. Also on the fence witht the cards. Kind of takes away from the dance for me.,

It is Becca. She's been dealing with that knee for a while now. Hope she gets better!

Just wondering if there is an opportunity to get feedback from everyone on what they desire and value from a video/DVD vendor at Cheer competitions? Due to the high use of handheld cameras.... everyone seems to have an iPad these days.. we have seen DVD sales plummet. Many smaller regional events do not have video or photography vendors anymore. (does that make a difference?) It also seems that many people would rather use their own camera and share their own video online than purchase something professionally recorded, even though in the crowd down in front watching a camera takes away the experience and "feel" of being at a live event. (many people say they walk away feeling that they missed it) What do you think? Add to the mix the fact that many gym owners and coaches prefer that their routines not show up on online until the end of the season.

SEVideo is intensely scrutinizing our business model and direct feedback would be an immense help. With everyone watching their expenditures closely these days, and with competitive cheerleading being an expensive endeavor for parents, we are striving to provide the highest quality product at an affordable price... and still stay in business!

Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, price price price... Why would I pay $40 for something I can get for free? The quality isn't worth that. There are competitions giving away the performances on USB ports, so why would parents drop the cash? If it were cheap ($5-$10) then I think you'd get the business because it IS better than a parent's camera... And maybe they have a side view, but it was the best performance Suzie's team has done all season so they really need that DVD... I think you can sell it, but it has to be cheap to even get the parents to consider it.

Also, no thanks to "it's only $200 for the team!" because nobody wants to be the one to front the money and have to arrange for every other parent to pay them back. You are better off doing it cheaper and saying "hey, you are not able to make copies but it's only $5 for you to get it too!"

Thanks Tamara, we know that price is always a concern... and we try to find ways to make it affordable. Some teams do have a person who will organize a team order... but it shouldn't be the coach. (don't they have enough to do?) We've tried lowering the price at a local event ... and sold the fewest we've ever sold at a competition! (Although I'm not so sure that price was the reason for that) I appreciate your honest feedback.
