You have to consider the fact that a Senior 1 could be made up of all junior aged athletes except 1 that's 15. I'm sure there are very small gyms out there that are only able to field a team like this.

That MAY be an exception. Most Sr 1 that I see are from decent size programs. Senior 1 Small Gym Would be ok!

That is exactly the situation in a lot of programs in my area. My daughter was on a senior team when she was 13. Of 10 kids 2 were junior age, 1 was senior age and the rest were youth. They had exactly 1 BHS in the whole group and were definitely level 1.
 
Just bc a team is senior 1 doesn't mean they aren't being pushed. If you don't like it don't sign up for it. If a gym chooses to do it an can field a team great. Sometimes there are limitations but an athlete still loves the sport. I'm annoyed that some think less of lower levels or that those athletes don't work as hard. I'm 5'5 and could never play collegiate basketball and I'm not good does that mean that I don't get to participate? Rude people
