These are great tips. I think I will make a list and share with our team. Our team is staying on Disney property. As I said in an earlier post this was our gym/team's 1st trip to NCA Dallas this year, and we won 1st place. We found out the next day that we had won a paid bid to the Summit. We are all really excited to be going, thanks again for all of the great tips...I would like to be as prepared as possible.

Does anyone know if the All Star Resort is using the same "refill" cups as previous years?

Oh, internet at the All-Star resorts sucked, so if you don't have a data plan, wi-fi was harder to come by. And there are no mini fridges in the rooms, so don't bother bringing back leftovers to save for later.

You will not be able to bring food or drink in to the parks (unless you get creative)

This is not true. You can bring your own food or drinks into any of the parks, however you cannot bring coolers, so it has to go in a backpack or the like.

Wifi on property is ehh at best so bring a phone charger if you plan to be uploading a lot, it will suck your battery down.

As previously stated, don't stay on property, and avoid eating on property. It's very expensive. If you'd like suggestions for places to stay and things to do while you're there PM me.

Actually my room last year had a mini fridge. The year before it did not.

I wouldn't plan on it, but some rooms have them.

If you're an athlete and you get those meal voucher tickets then split them with a friend. You'll get twice as many meals and you won't have to worry about not finishing it. Splitting gives you a good, normal size portion and you won't be crazy full if you finish it!

Oh and if you bring down food (like Ramen or microwavable food), make sure to ask for a microwave! All Star sports doesn't have them but if you ask they will bring you one. Caribbean Beach usually has them.

So jealous!! We didn't have one and I threw away a lot of food on that trip. Fingers crossed for this year.

CP fills her ramen cups with the hot heater for yea, by the time she's back to the room it's perfect!

WWS can be a cellphone nightmare depending on your carrier. Be sure to bring your charger and/or charging case (mophie, etc).

If you are driving your own car to WWS allow ample time to park and walk to your meet spot. If there are other large events at the same time (i.e. Braves spring training during UCA) you will wait to get in the lots.

Bring a rain poncho with hood & flip flops for CP. Wet uniform & shoes = unhappy CP. Even if you utilize the bus or car drop off lanes you still have a long walk to the venues.

Don't wait for the last minute to purchase your ticket if you are attending the event "off the package". Lines can be long.

Have fun!

Sprint is HORRIBLE at WWOS!! I carried my charger everywhere because I kept searching for service and my battery kept getting drained. I about lost my mind when my team made finals (HS Nationals) and I couldn't get a text, FB post or email to go through :/

There is a restaurant at WWoS that does a sack lunch preorder (you can do it any day) our team mom arranges it and it's actually really good/healthy and inexpensive in terms of disney food. Plus, it's right there. Basically you get a large sandwhich (lettuce tomato, cheese, etc), chips, apple, cookie and bottle of water. I think it's $7 or $8. It's really enough for two people to share, or to just eat the sandwhich and have chips, apple and cookie for later.
