I have a question... If small coed restricted 5 and small coed 5 are 2 separate division. How could RTB put a non-worlds team against a worlds team? This doesn't seem right to put Xtreme cheer fire up against just cheer jags

I don't really know anything about this situation, but are you sure that the restricted team didn't choose to go into small coed 5? I don't think an EP can or would force a team into a division.

did this actually happen? because they definitely can't

Large Coed 5 is actually 18 or less males. "Large restricted coed 5" is not actually a "real" division. The division is restricted 5, and they limit it at 4 males. They start splitting it at events by large/small and coed/all girl once there are enough teams to do so. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "appropriate" though?
Thanks! ^_^

I'm sure that Xtreme cheer fire had no intention to compete in a worlds division and from what I understand the coach tried to dispute it.

I have a dilemma!! My team was supposed to have 14 girls competing tomorrow at their last competition of the season, and I just found out one girl hurt her knee and cannot compete. I will now only have 13 on the floor. She is a flyer and I have no one else to fill in for her stunts. If her stunt group marks her stunt and only one side of the pyramid goes up, will this be counted against us since there is technically enough people on the floor for 3 stunts to go up anyway?

This team competed as a small coed restricted 5 the whole season & decided to try competing in the regular small coed 5 division as a challenge/for fun since it's the end of this season. There are a couple crossovers between R5 & our i5 so going for a bid for R5 when i5 is the worlds team was not an option (plus they're going to the summit) which put them in the non worlds division. From my understanding it was thought that they would be in their own division of small coed 5 non worlds but since there weren't any other teams they got combined in with the small coed 5 worlds division. They were scored on the worlds score sheet to be fair but were overlooked for a bid as non worlds. Does this answer your question?

Yes this makes a lot more sense! From the original post it was implied that the competition owners combined the two divisions, which is why I said that it is not allowed

This story is correct. It was prior to their comp in Baltimore. Odyssey came out in red bows and we all started crying. It was a wonderful sign of solidarity in the cheer world that day. Some made signs for our coed team and other's wore red. It was beautiful and very thoughtful. The Valentine's day story may also be true. But I believe the original red bow was support for FAME.
Actually it was Isiah who passed away right before the Baltimore competition. The support for FAME was overwhelming and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

i was just thinking back to all the gyms i've ever cheered/practiced in/taken privates at and how none of them exist anymore (old people problems)... but now i have a random thought...

does the former Jersey Shore All Stars have any relation to the current Jersey All Stars? very similar names and geographic locations and exact same colors. or just coincidence? NJ Coach ?
