My daughter is working on her level 4 skills now. The goal is to have those skills before the end of the summer. Currently we're lookin for a gym that has a J5 team. I don't want to have to find a new gym in another year or two simply because they don't have a team that mirrors her skills. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Stingrays!

I can confidently say Rays, but GA usually has a Jr. Co-ed 5. There might be another team/gym, but I can't think of one. A lot of Atlanta teams have Sr. 5 teams, and many have Jr. 4 teams.

I also want to say this with all due respect. If you want to make sure your daughter is moving up and being placed on the proper level to ensure her safe progression, I recommend Stingrays. I think there may be other gyms that would move her up quicker, but at least at Stingrays you know that she is being taught proper progression and not just filling a level 5 team with anyone that might have a layout or full by season if that makes sense.

there are lots of great gyms in the area, but i think rays is the only, if not one of very few, gyms who consistently has a J5 program every year.

That's what I thought. I just didn't want to research every single gym in the area to find that out. Thanks!!

To me because of your reasoning of not wanting to have to change gyms as she moves up i would only go to stingrays.
.top to bottom they are one of if not the best in the country.

That's true. Stingrays is definitely an option. I was just hoping they weren't the only option

Thanks for the insight. I'm not looking to move her up quicker. I just want to be some place where a J5 is option in 2 or 3 years. As I stated previously I want to choose the gym carefully because I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
