That may be, but his response in the 3rd tweet here was not polite.

For those of you who don't know. JC stands for Johns Creek, the 2nd Rays gym location. @cwizzzle is a coach at that location. Also his direct tweet to the athlete was uncalled for. He seems to agree, since he has deleted both of those tweets.

I remember when Georgia was amazing!!! Did he just recently get tacky and all up in everyones business or has he always been this dramatic...I just remember him being such an amazing choreographer back in 2001- 2007 ish...now I don't even watch when his teams show up...his drama is not worth the 2.5 minutes.

agreed! i used to think ga was awesome back in high school (basically before i knew who jamie was). now that i've seen how unclassy he can be, i could really care less how good/bad his program is. i don't care to follow them period. he needs to stop being trashy and let his teams/program speak for themselves. everyone on here agrees that rays is 100% classy. and that's because they are a very talented, well rounded, humble, non smack talking program. they let their routines speak for themselves.

Sounds like we've finally found intelligent life here and people have their very berry thinking caps on... FINALLY! If Mr. Parrish so readily goes off and slanders Rays and openly harasses their athletes, makes you wonder how many other programs he's done the same to, doesn't it? A few come to mind... However, those programs took the high road or did not want to dignify his rantings with any kind of response.

Bottom line time: He fears that he and his teams are becoming irrelevant. This once talented coach and choreographer has let jealousies and insecurities destroy his focus and chip away at his sanity. Sad, sad day in Strawberryland.

I thought Rays and GA were cordial (not BFFs, but friendly)?!? Now GA and Trinity on the other hand....I also just feel like Rays are too classy/professional to have a public "fight". They let their product/teams speak for them.

There really isn't that much drama between the athletes. A lot of us go to school together and cheer with each other on school teams and such. I'm sure there is drama here and there but it gets dropped quick.

This times 9000. I think he has done a great job of keeping his name in the lime light without having strong teams like he used to.

It's so frustrating because I LOVE Jamie Parrish for what he does- the man is an undisputed choreography genius, and I'll be the first to say I'm a huge fan, but the way he acts is so unprofessional it's a sin. It completely overshadows his incredible talent.

I was going to say this. I don't want to drag Georgia's athletes into this. I am good friends with a bunch of them (former and current) and they are great.

You know.. Maybe those of you who've been around a while can respect his work.

But what about people like myself and my CP? My daughter (well not specifically her obviously, but her age group as a mini) is the future of this sport. What happens when all of you have moved on? All I'm left with is some guy whose behavior resembles that of an unsupervised 5th grader. Why would I send my kid to his gym? I certainly don't want HER to act that way or think that's acceptable. I find it absolutely shocking. I don't care what he did 5 years ago.. My kid was in diapers. He's throwing away his future.

Signed,
Mom of a dedicated mini who if she stays in the sport will probably live in Stingrays/GA/Trinity country before she's level 5.

Yikes.

The parents don't help either. Long before I ever read any of the garbage Jamie spews, I stayed in the same hotel with GA at a comp. Those parents (not all, but way more than I would have expected) were the rudest people I've ever been around. I actually watched one mom come from behind and shove my CP as my CP was reaching for the last bagel at the breakfast buffet. The mom then grabbed the bagel and sneered at CP. That capped off the weekend from hell in the hotel with them.
Ugh Im very sorry to hear that... Its the things like that that make my blood boil. There is no use in being disrespectful. You're only making yourself, your athlete, and your gym look bad.

Let your routines do the talking.

I love you for the Thatcher quote. RIP.
