So i know the USASF has a rule that states you cant compete at worlds and at a year end multi brand event in the same division.

Since worlds happened before US Finals, what is to stop a team from competing at USFinals or another event? Are there repercussions the following season even though it was for this year?

I asked the same question. Our level 4 team was at the US finals this past weekend. There was another gym's level 5 team that was competing there also that I know for a fact was at worlds. But I was told that some of the rules changed this year, I jist don't know which ones changed.

Do they have the same divisions at US finals that exist at Worlds? (never watched before)

And is US Finals multi brand?
US Finals is JAM Brands version of All Levels/Final Destination/Summit. It is all the regular USASF divisions there. They aren't allowed to just make up new ones.

Here are the final results for Level 5. So there weren't many teams altogether because of this rule. Also noticed Fame IOC5 on there. I am not sure if it is the same one that competed at worlds though since they have so many gyms.

It isn't Multi Brand though if you consider JAM Brands one Brand.

Though I bet a shiny nickel if you looked hard enough you would find evidence somewhere where JAM Brands are referred to as multi brand.

They also have non Jam companies that give out bids. Spirit Unlimited, ECDA, Epic brands.

I think for these purposes it would be considered multi brand. If you considered JAM Brands to be one big brand rather than a bunch of brands under one umbrella, wouldn't they only be able to give out one set of Worlds bids rather than bids from multiple companies?

I don't think it is a US Finals rule anymore, but I think it is pretty clear that the teams that competed at both US Finals and Worlds violated the USASF rules for Worlds. Do I think anything will come of it - probably not - seeing as how a different EP broke the rules this year in giving a bid to a gym that only brought one team out of at least 7 from their gym when the rules clearly stated you had to bring at least 50% of your gym in order to be entitled to compete for a bid and nothing came of it. In the grand scheme of things, this rule isn't a big issue (I could care less if a team competes at Worlds and US Finals, or if only one team from a gym competes at a bid competition to get a bid), but I wish USASF would either take responsibility for enforcing rules and having penalties for cheating or at the very least only create rules that they are willing to enforce.

Is this rule also in place for IASF? I know a lot of international teams whose seasons don't end until may or June.

It doesn't say worlds has to be the last comp just the only multi brand comp. I believe this was written to stop int teams from competing at that other worlds comp that is out there. But it stopped us teams from going to us finals, all levels etc when it was written.

That EP broke their own rule. So you can't be mad at the usasf for that. But you can be mad that a different EP gave a bid to a team that wasn't eligible to recieve a bid. And didn't find out until after they awarded it.
