Yes, it was such a relief to hear she was okay, & my mom could finally calm down. We knew her house was gone before we had heard from her (since we know her address, it put her house directly in the path), so that made it even worse.

@mclovin and the rest of our OK cheer community - our thoughts are with you! Praying you are all safe!

Thank you so much! This has been completely and totally devastating! To my knowledge, none of our coaches or athletes were severely affected by this storm. They are all alive and their houses are in tact. One of our coaches is a teacher at an elementary school in Moore and she was there last night with the kids til after 9:00 p.m. because parents couldn't get into the area to pick them up. Another coach lived right smack across the street from one of the elementary schools that was leveled, but it didn't touch her house. However, she coaches cheer at a middle school there and several of her athletes lost everything. :(

From my understanding one of the owners of OK Twisters, Craig Hallmark, may have lost his house. Not 100% sure on that though. I am sure many of Tribe's and OK Twisters' athletes have been affected since the storm hit very close to where their gyms are located.

Continued prayers for the whole town of Moore is greatly appreciated! The poor families that have been torn apart by death and/or complete loss of belongings will have a very long road ahead of them. Every time I watch a video of someone talking about their experience I break down crying. I just can't imagine going thru something so horrific!!

Sending all my love and prayers to all who are affected.

If you're interested in donating, text "Red Cross" to 90999. Those affected WILL receive aid this way--- it really helped my family out when Hurricane Sandy hit. PLEASE consider this small donation if you are financially able!

We have put together a relief campaign for people in the all star community affected by the tornado. You can send everything right to the Varsity office, and we will be sending EVERYTHING directly to those in the all star community that were affected in Oklahoma. Please let me know if you have any questions.

It’s times like these that we come together and help our All Star community when they need it most.

After hearing several reports of athletes, coaches, and their families being directly affected by the Oklahoma tornado, we are opening our offices to collect gift cards ( Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot, etc.) and monetary donations that we will give exclusively to those in the All Star industry who have been affected by this tragedy. These individuals have lost everything including shelter, clothing and their personal belongings. If you would like to join in this effort, please send all donations to:

The NWS officially rated this tornado as en EF5 when it passed through the south OKC (Westmoor/Briarwood) and Moore area. So heartbreaking.

Just found out that my boyfriend is okay, He lives in Tulsa but was doing some Landscape work in Shawnee and I have been waiting since Friday to hear from him ! We are in a long distance relationship and he was trying to work some over time to move back home ! :D

Update: my aunt found her dog! He's in one of the shelters there! :) I have some pictures of her actual house and neighborhood now, and it's so sad.
My shimmy was for her finding her dog:D. Sorry about her house:( , hope her and her neighborhood can rebuild

Thank you to everyone for your prayers. I may not live in Moore but I cheer at Tribe and am close with athletes from OK Twisters. Some athletes do need help. If anything please send things to VARSITY. They are helping our teammates in a greatly needed and appreciated way.
