Wow, sweety, rough start. I'm new to the board also. I haven't started any threads but don't feel bad about starting your own. Some folks on here are not nice and some are super nice and everything in between. A lot like real life. Try to ignore the not nice. I would poke around a bit in the different threads and use the search bar up top to see if things you are looking for have been covered. But stick around and look around. This forum can be a lot of fun and very informative. ;)

lol def not...I was much quieter on prox. I kept my nose way out of drama :D

I guess I started with a bang back then! LMBO But my research from that thread paid off...we ended up moving and have never looked back! :D

Ok a lot of people have been messaging me saying that you're a very rude member so can you please stop commenting and trying to start drama, thanks bye
She's not rude, she's telling the truth. She's an experienced poster on the boards. You have to learn what is and isn't acceptable to post on here.

wow, I wouldn't say @nikaa is a rude member at all.

My advice to you is to slow down on all the new threads. People on here tend to get annoyed by that, myself included. There's a great thread here called Random Cheerleading questions. Lots of your threads could've just been posts to that thread. Like others said, the search bar is your friend. The best piece of advice though, do lots of reading.

Not to glitterandbows directly but I am just wondering why people think I'm rude? It's true I post a lot. Pretty sure I have over 2000 posts. And some of them ( I can count on my fingers how many) might be rude. But why people remember me as a rude poster with that 10 rude posts and not as a nice person with other 1990 posts?
Just asking.....

First of all: @Nikaa is not a rude member at all.
Second: I would like if the "a lot of members" could state their opinion about Nikaa in the public forums because I would bet that they don't exist (if you don't want to state it publicly you can also pm me).
Third: Sometimes when you find someone rude please consider that not everyone here is a native English-speaker and what others might consider "rude" might just be a lack of better wording/lack of vocabulary from the poster.

Maybe not rude exactly, but your replies to her were a bit snappy and could have been worded more nicely

@glitterandbows12 I know it's hard being new (I still am) but don't get discouraged! This is your best resource for all things cheer-related. The members might seem a little intimidating at first, but in the long run, they just want to help you. Maybe freshen up on the rules in the Newbie section and I'm sure we'll be seeing great posts out of you! And good luck on your project :)

This is maybe a good place to remind everyone that the boards are made up of people of all ages and maturity levels from all over the world. You're first "correction" to someone who makes a mistake can be (if you want it to) a teaching one that is polite and respectful.

Likewise if you get a critique, unless it is blatantly mean like "hey, you're stupid" try not to take it personally, it is very possible they are trying to help but are just using a different tone than you would.

I can't count the number of cat-fights I've watched that started, and continued all based on just a difference of opinion of "what you meant"

Not sure why we have to remind people of this in a sport that is centered around being supportive and accepting of one another.

Thank you to the many people who voted on the poll! I have collected the data i need for my project :cheering: Sorry for everyone annoyed by this thread.. it wont happen again
