I personally am saying right now I'm done with this conversation. At 19 years old I wish I didn't have the experience with this kind of stuff that I do, I wish I didn't have to go through what I've had to go through, but I have, and it's given me a much different way of looking at it than the average teenager probably has. I've made my points very clear and if you guys continue to ignore what I've actually been saying that is your choice and you're only robbing yourself of the experience and the different points of view. We all have different opinions on different subjects, that's the beauty of this message board, the problem with these last 4 pages of the thread is that you are not open to seeing other sides of it, yet have been requesting that we see your side. I wish everyone here a good night and I sure hope that people can read through this thread and maybe learn a thing or two, maybe see things from both sides of the fence rather than their own naive side of the fence.

I'm your age and I think you're talking like an idiot to be honest.
Andrew, lol. Aren't you like a sophomore in college? Please STAHP. You tweet your little "cheerlebrity" "friends" all the time. It's hypocritical for you to even reply. Don't don't just don't.

Because I have friends who are known athletes? That has nothing to do with my friendships or interactions with people. I could care less about the amount of followers someone has... But I still don't understand why me disagreeing with you makes me a hypocrite?

Sounds like someone needs some warm milk and a nap.
Settle down Suzie.

Whoa. You're assuming way too much. You have no idea where I come from or what I've been through. I haven't made any points other than these girls are talented. You are assuming that the abs is why they are recognized and that's unfair to assume. I wasn't trying to insult you or offend you, it just seems you're taking this all so personal. Maybe you should step back and not take a forum so seriously.

No! I do see it from your side. I already explained why it's flawed. It's almost crazy to think that you can change a whole country's view on body image. I sure wish we could but we can't. The only way to make a change is to embrace it positively instead of saying these athletes aren't talented. I'm trying to meet you halfway and you're the one refusing to see it from my point of view :(

For what it's worth @chyeeaaa69 I totally get what you are saying and applaud you for your post.
I can think of many amazing atheletes that spend countless hours working on skills that only a small percentage of kids can do and they do it for the love of the sport... they do not come to the gym with hair and make up, they do not have on custom blinged out practice wear and they spend their free time at the GYM and not the tanning salon.
And, they don't give a rats @** about how many "followers" they have they care about leaving it on the mat.
Where's the love for these kids? Where's the admiration? Guess you gotta have the Kardashian Mentality to get ahead in this sport... Self Promotion and un realistic body image. What a shame.

Andrew, you're such a social climber. To you it's all about how many followers they have. You're a hypocrite because you associate with ALOT of the people were talking about and tell them how amazing they are. You may not be a fangirl but you don't necessarily oppose it. You slay nothing Andrew because you're already so tarnished. Please go away.

That's incredibly rude.

It's in EVERY sport. Please look at it from both sides. People idolized Kelsey and she is so skinny.

People idolize Kelsey because she's an extremely talented athlete, humble and an all around great ambassador for our sport, not because she is "so skinny"
