Zeta Tau Alpha, but I am deactivated because I transfered to a school without a chapter.

Chi Omega at Oklahoma State! My bid day was Saturday so it's all new to me but I love it!

They are groups that you "rush" for in order to get a bid and intitiated into. Sort of like a secret society. Most houses have secret rituals and things that are kept within the house. You have greek letters that represent which sorority/fraternity you belong to. Colleges have different chapters of each national group and they differ from campus to campus. You grow very close to your sisters/brothers and become like a family. Each house does philanthropy work and community service together, and each house has their own events and charities/philanthropies that they support.

There is much more to it but that is easier to find out by using google. Think of it as a club that you are initiated into and are part of for life.
