I'm hearing Courtney is picking 24 athletes and hosting a "hunger games"

For some reason I think it has something to do with Cheer Extreme.

What is this and where was it mentioned because I have NO idea what you're talking about. I saw Hunger Games as an option and I vote yes.

CheerUpdates on Twitter is making an announcement at 7.24 EST and has made a few references to the Hunger Games. I have finally managed to work out that if something seemingly random pops up on the boards, Twitter's probably involved

Cheerupdates tweeted there will be a big announcement about at 7:24pm est today

basically cheerupdates, courtney and few other coaches (saw GBE post about it, too) are tweeting/hyping/counting down to 7:24 when there will be some announcement. CheerUpdates referring to it as hunger games and there are 24 tributes who were chosen, etc.

i'm with @12stepcheermom on the majors.. unless there is some new regional competiton and there's 7 regions... that was my first thought, since CU was asking how to define a champion.

who knows.

oh nevermind.... then again didnt a lot of team not like the majors, because their was no incentive to go, since they dont hand out bids.

We enjoyed the Majors. I think it's a great comp. Its about the kids and the fans. Cool concept!

Does this possibly have something to do with that Dubai thing that CEA got an invitation to earlier last season? Or am I the only one that even remembers that?

I'm excited. CU is having way too much fun teasing about this announcement for it to be something little.

I thought the Majors was supposed to be a replacement of Worlds because JamBrands wants to get away from USASF or something like that.
