I loved The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo books! The first one was hard for me to get into, but they're all so good!

Also if anybody saw Silver Linings Playbook, I'm reading the book and it's pretty good!
I definitely liked the Silver Linings book better than the movie.

For any of you adults, I just read Gone Girl and couldn't put it down. It's a little heavy for younger people, but just so crazy and out there I read it all in a day... It's wild. And great. And I would love for anyone else to read it so I could discuss it. Haha

I loved Gone Girl!!!!

Double post, sorry bout that! Some books I recommend are:
Safe Haven - Nicholas Sparks
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series- I actually loved this, slow start go get into it but very good once you do
The Lucky One- Nicholas Sparks
Nineteen Minutes- Jodi Picoult
Sarah's Key- Tatiana something

Sarah's Key was awesome!

Honestly, the fierceboard book threads are always my financial downfall. You guys recommend great books (I have read a ton of books from last year's book thread) and since they are usually not available in the library over here, there is no way around buying them...
I guess I should be glad that I have a kindle because ebooks are at least a bit chaper than the real deal.

I though this thread was going to be about READING (aka insults) not reading books. I'm very disappointed.

Pretty Little Devils by Nancy Holder

It's like Pretty Little Liars but with a huge spin on it. It did come out before PLL though

Another great one I forgot to mention is "My Name is Memory" by Ann Brashares. This one was actually recommended to me by one of my bookworm cheerleaders so I was a bit apprehensive that it would be geared toward a younger demographic, but I was absolutely in love with this book after a few pages. It's a tragedy and a love story and a time traveling fairy tale all at once. Definitely recommend!

i read 172 hours on the moon a couple weeks ago and it was amazing ! its a scifi/horror story about three teenagers that get send to the moon and once they get there everything goes wrong. it was so creepy but i liked it !
